About Jet One – Private Airline WordPress Theme
A charter is sold with a quote request, not a buy button
Building the website of a private flight company usually ends in one of two things: a generic travel agency template with a plane pasted on the homepage, or an elegant page that never explains how to request a flight. Jet One, a theme by CurlyThemes, is made to avoid that: it is designed for private airlines and charters, with services such as private jet, helicopter, air taxi, small prop or charter air ambulance.
There is something almost nobody mentions in this business: the price is rarely published, because it depends on the route, the date and the aircraft. The website does not close sales, it opens conversations. What decides whether it works is that requesting a flight is easy and that the fleet looks good enough for the customer to get in touch.
Fleet carousels, quote form and empty legs schedule
The theme relies on large images and carousels to present the aircraft, and adds pieces specific to the sector:
- Flight quote form: the entry point for requests, which is what you really want to receive.
- Empty legs schedule: a space to publish flight legs without passengers.
- Charter elements and airline icons: to organise services and destinations with a visual language of the sector.
Empty legs deserve a warning: they are legs the operator flies again without passengers and usually wants to sell quickly. An outdated listing, with dates already past, looks worse than having none. If you are not going to keep it up to date, do not put it on the homepage.
Jet One is edited with WPBakery and the Xtender plugin
The theme includes two plugins: WPBakery Composer, the page builder used to lay out the content, and Events Schedule, which displays schedules and timetables in style. On top of them comes Xtender, the manufacturer's own plugin, which adds:
- Custom elements for the visual builder.
- An extended panel of individual page settings.
- A sidebars generator.
- Shortcodes for icons and buttons.
- Custom widgets.
- Custom options for footers.
Jet One or a site with online booking? Decide before choosing it
If your model is selling individual seats with a payment gateway, this theme is not what it describes. In addition, its own elements are made for WPBakery: if you work with another page builder, you will have to adapt to this one. Check in the demo where the form requests go and which fields it asks for, so you know whether it fits the way you handle customers.
Is it suitable for helicopters or air ambulances?
Yes, it is designed for all types of flight services: private jet, helicopter, air taxi, small prop or charter air ambulance.
Can I charge for flights from the website?
That is not what the theme describes. Its tool is the quote form, and you close the deal with the customer yourself.
Do I have to buy WPBakery separately?
No, WPBakery Composer comes included with the theme, as do Events Schedule and Xtender.
Can I use it with another page builder?
The custom elements in Xtender are made for the included visual builder, so the sensible option is to work with it.
