About JetGEO
What JetGEO is and what it's for
When a website gets visitors from different countries or regions, showing the same content to everyone doesn't always make sense: a legal notice, an offer or a welcome message can be relevant in one place and irrelevant — or even problematic — in another. JetGEO is a plugin built to solve exactly that: it lets you show or hide parts of a page based on the visitor's geographic location, without duplicating pages or writing custom code.
How location-based targeting works
The plugin detects where a visitor is coming from based on their IP address and, using that information, applies visibility rules to content blocks, sections or widgets. You can set conditions by country, region or city, so a single page designer can build one template that automatically adapts to whoever visits it, instead of maintaining several separate versions of the same content.
- Geographic visibility conditions: shows or hides elements based on the country, region or city the visitor is accessing from.
- Visual editor integration: rules are applied directly to sections or widgets within the normal page editing workflow.
- Combining conditions: location logic can be combined with other visibility conditions from the page builder itself, enabling more specific scenarios without extra plugins.
- No page duplication needed: a single page can adapt its content based on where the visitor is from, reducing maintenance compared to creating separate versions per country.
Common use cases
JetGEO is especially useful for projects that need to speak to different audiences without splitting the site into multiple versions. Common scenarios include online stores selling in several countries that want to highlight different promotions or shipping terms depending on the region, corporate sites that need to display legal or privacy notices specific to local regulations, and marketing campaign landing pages that tailor their message based on where the traffic comes from.
It also fits multilingual sites that want to suggest content based on the visitor's country of origin, or businesses with a physical presence in different cities that need to highlight the nearest branch, phone number or address to the visitor.
Who it's for
This tool is built for people who design pages visually and need personalization logic without relying on a developer for every adjustment. Agencies managing sites for clients with international operations, stores selling to multiple markets, and marketing teams launching geographically targeted campaigns are the profiles that get the most out of it.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a specific page builder to use it?
JetGEO is designed to work integrated with the visual page editing workflow, applying location rules directly to existing sections or widgets.
What happens if the location can't be detected?
As with any IP-based geolocation system, detection can sometimes be imprecise (for example, with VPNs or proxies). That's why it's a good idea to set default content for visitors whose location can't be clearly identified.
Can I combine the location condition with other rules?
Yes, geographic conditions can be added to other page builder visibility conditions, allowing you to create more precise rules by combining location with other criteria.
Does it affect site performance?
Location detection adds an extra layer of processing, but since this feature is about showing or hiding content that already exists, the impact tends to be minimal compared to duplicating entire pages per region.
