About LifterLMS LaunchPad
For people already teaching with LifterLMS who want a classroom with its own face
Many course creators spend weeks polishing lessons and leave the platform's look exactly as it comes: a small logo, default colors and a typeface that has nothing to do with their brand. Yet students spend most of their time inside the classroom, not on the sales page. LaunchPad is a theme built for LifterLMS that lets you control the design, layout and typography of that space.
It works for you if:
- you are setting up an online course site and want to customize it from an options panel, without touching code;
- you work for clients and need a highly customizable theme for their training projects.
It is not for you if you expect the theme to provide learning features: courses, lessons and their management come from LifterLMS, not LaunchPad. The theme changes the look, it does not add capabilities to the course system.
An options panel for logo, colors, header and footer
The core of LaunchPad is its options panel. From there you change the logo, colors, header, footer and the overall layout of the site, with point-and-click control over the responsive design of every piece of LifterLMS.
More than 600 Google Fonts typefaces for long lessons
Typography matters more in a course than on a corporate site: students read for a long time. LaunchPad gives you direct access to more than 600 Google Fonts, so you can pick one that reads well in long texts and also fits your brand's tone.
- A language course may call for a clear, neutral letterform.
- A creative program, such as music, allows something with more personality.
- A business or marketing program often benefits from a sober typeface.
The theme is positioned for niches such as languages, real estate training, music, business and marketing, or health and fitness, among others.
LaunchPad without LifterLMS: it works, but you lose the essential part
The theme can be used without LifterLMS to build an attractive site on almost any topic. However, if you want to sell courses, you need LifterLMS installed: the plugin creates the courses, lessons and student area, and LaunchPad dresses them. If you are not going to teach anything, there are general-purpose themes made for that.
Questions before choosing LaunchPad
Do I need LifterLMS to use it?
For a course site, yes. The theme also works without it for other types of websites, but then you will have none of the course system.
Does it change how courses or payments work?
No. LaunchPad acts on design, layout and typography. How courses work depends on LifterLMS.
Is it suitable for client projects?
Yes, it is one of the uses it is meant for: a highly customizable theme, for you or for a client's project.
Can I use any font?
