About Liton – Personal & CV Responsive WordPress Theme

Freelancer or independent professional who wants to get hired, not an agency or a shop

Plenty of people with good work lose projects over something simple: the person deciding opens their link, can't see at a glance who they are, what they do and how to contact them, and closes the tab. Liton is a theme designed to prevent that: a personal website with a biography, services, portfolio, testimonials and blog, written in the first person and for one person only.

It fits if you are a designer, developer, photographer or another professional who presents themselves under their own name. It doesn't fit if you are looking for:

  • An agency or studio website with a team, where the first-person narrative gets in the way.
  • An online shop or a booking system: the demo shows nothing of the sort.
  • A job board with listings and candidates: the demo is a personal profile with a CV.
  • Ready-made copy: the name, biography, testimonials and posts in the demo are samples and you will have to replace them all.

Liton: three home pages and an introduction that reads from top to bottom

The demo offers three home variants (Home One, Home Two and Home Video) plus About, Service, Portfolio, Client, Blog and Contact pages. The home page combines name and occupations, a biography, a personal details card (location, email, freelance availability) and two buttons: Hire Me and Download CV.

Those two buttons are the most useful part of the design: one for the person who already wants to hire you and one for the person still evaluating you. Even so, think carefully about which details you publish: the demo card includes date of birth, age and phone number, and none of that is needed for people to get in touch.

Liton's skill bars: a 90% convinces nobody

The theme shows skills as percentage bars (in the demo, UI Designer, Web Development, Photography and SEO & Marketing). It's a pleasant visual device, but whoever hires you doesn't know what 90% means: there is nothing to compare it with.

If you use them, keep them few and with values you could defend in an interview. The real proof is in your projects, not in a bar.

Six services and a portfolio that filters by category

The demo's services section presents six blocks:

  • Graphic Design
  • Branding Product
  • Web Development
  • SEO Marketing
  • Photography
  • App Development

The portfolio shows a grid of works with filters (All Work, Branding, Graphic, Photography and Web Design). It lets each visitor go straight to what matters to them. One tip: don't fill in six services if you offer two; an inflated list creates doubt instead of trust.

Testimonials, blog and contact: what closes the visit

Below the portfolio the demo adds testimonials with name and title, a block of latest blog posts and a contact form with office details. Testimonials must come from real clients and with their permission: the demo ones are filler and, if you leave them, they hurt your credibility. The blog is useful if you will really publish; if not, remove that block before launching.

Questions before building your site with Liton

Does it include a downloadable CV?

The demo shows the Download CV button. The file itself, of course, is something you prepare.

Can I use it for an agency or studio?

It can be adapted, but the whole structure revolves around one person (biography, personal card, availability). For a team, a corporate theme is usually a better fit.

Is it suitable for selling or booking?

No: the demo shows no shop or bookings. It is a presentation and contact website.

Is the demo copy available in Spanish?

The demo copy is in English. You will have to write your own content in the language you need.
