About Local – Modern Blog & Magazine Elementor Template

A blog is not lost on the homepage, it is lost on the second article

Setting up a blog or a digital magazine often ends in a good-looking homepage, a reader who lands from Google on a single post, reads it and leaves. The design that decides whether a publication grows is not the one on the first page, but the one that gets that visitor to open the next article and, with luck, leave an email address.

Local is an Elementor template kit with a clean, minimal and modern look, in a slightly bold black and white style. It is aimed at bloggers, journals, news, portals, stories and magazines, and it is edited by dragging and dropping, with no code.

Home, Explore and Blog Post: the pages of the kit

The kit includes more than 13 templates. The pages are:

  • Home
  • Explore
  • Blog Post
  • Subscribe, Submit, About and Contact

It also comes with a header, a footer and global styles. Fonts and colors can be changed in a single place or fine-tuned element by element, so adapting the black and white to your outlet's identity does not require redoing every page. The design is responsive and built to load quickly.

Metform forms and a global header with ElementsKit Lite

Three pieces of the kit are forms: Contact, Subscribe and Submit. They run on the Metform plugin, which is installed with the kit, just like ElementsKit Lite, which is used to build the site-wide header and footer.

This has a practical advantage: the subscription is not an afterthought, it comes already designed. Even so, you have to connect and configure the forms yourself: the template provides the design, not the email delivery service.

Deciding whether Local is enough with Elementor and Hello Elementor

Local is not a theme: it is page content for the Elementor page builder. It is optimized for the free Hello Elementor theme, although it can be used with most themes that support Elementor. It is imported with the Template Kit Import plugin.

There are limits worth knowing before you choose it:

  • It includes no content: the blog listings only show something once you have posts created in WordPress, and each post block must be configured with your query or categories.
  • The demo images come from Envato Elements and Unsplash: replace them with your own or sort out their use before publishing.
  • It is a design base, not an advertising tool, an author management system or a newsletter service on its own.

Do I need Elementor Pro?

The kit installs ElementsKit Lite and Metform with it. Check in the demo that all the templates you need import properly with your configuration.

Does it work if I have no articles yet?

You can import it and see the structure, but Home, Explore and the lists will stay empty until you publish posts.

Can I change the colors and fonts?

Yes, both globally and on individual elements.

Is it suitable for a shop or a company website?

That is not its purpose: it is aimed at blogs, news and magazines.
