About MainWP Pressable Extension
If your agency hosts sites on Pressable, you know the routine: open the MainWP dashboard to update plugins, open another tab with the Pressable panel to create a site, check a backup or turn on the CDN, and start over with the next client. This extension aims to end that double life between two panels.
When hosting and maintenance live in different places
A web maintenance agency works with two lists that rarely match: the sites it monitors and the servers they run on. As the portfolio grows, what gets lost is not technical knowledge but the time spent jumping from one site to another for small, repetitive tasks. MainWP Pressable Extension brings Pressable hosting tasks into the same dashboard you already use for everything else, so the server stops being separate territory.
What you can do with MainWP Pressable Extension from the dashboard
The connection is made with the client ID and secret key from your Pressable account. Once linked, you can:
- Create sites: enter the name, choose between WordPress or WooCommerce, the PHP version and, if needed, the data center location.
- Manage each site: sync data, see an overview, edit settings, turn access on or off, delete it and switch between production and staging.
- Control the CDN: turn it on or off with one click.
- Work with backups: view the list, download files and database, restore the site or apply a backup to another Pressable site.
- Open phpMyAdmin for each site directly.
- Act in bulk: run hosting actions on several sites at once.
It only works with Pressable, and requires an active account
Be clear on this before buying: the extension is designed only for sites hosted on Pressable. It does not manage sites on other hosts, and it needs an active Pressable account with its API credentials. Nor does it replace MainWP: it is an add-on that plugs into your MainWP dashboard. What it does not need are additional plugins or APIs beyond the above. And, as with any integration with a third party, what you can do depends on what the Pressable API allows on your account.

Yes. You can connect and manage several accounts from a single dashboard, useful if you keep separate accounts per client or business line.
Do I need to install anything else for it to work?
You don't need additional plugins or APIs. You need your MainWP dashboard and a Pressable account.
Does it work for sites on other hosts?
No. It is designed only for sites hosted on Pressable.
Can I restore a backup on a site other than the original?
Yes, you can apply a backup to another Pressable site, as well as restore it on the same one.
Your API credentials are the first thing to have at hand
Setup comes down to one step: linking your account with the Pressable client ID and secret key. If your client owns the hosting account, ask them for those details before you start. Once connected, run your first test on a staging site: sync, review the overview and download a backup before touching anything in production. That way you check that what you see in MainWP matches what is in Pressable.
