Anyone looking for a freelancer rarely reads calmly: they open three or four portfolios in tabs, jump straight to the projects, and only go back to see who is behind them if they are convinced. Many personal sites fail right there: they start with a very long biography and hide the work, the services or the way to get in touch.

Mazidul is a responsive theme for portfolios and personal sites that follows that path. Its demo builds the home page with a short introduction (name, professional profile and contact button), a skills block, services, the project gallery, testimonials, latest blog posts and a contact form with address details.

Web design or development freelancer

The demo revolves around this case: a headline with your specialty, percentage bars for each skill (web design, web development, photography) and four services in cards. It helps you organize your offer on a single page. One tip: for each project, explain what problem you solved instead of just showing the screenshot.

Photographer or visual creative

The demo gallery filters by category (All, App Design, Creative, Photography, Web Design). If you work in series or by type of commission, rename those categories with your own so the client quickly reaches what they are looking for, without going through everything you have done.

Small studio or team

Besides the portfolio, the demo includes a team block with name and title, an about us section with a read more button and a video button, and a pricing page. It is useful if you need to introduce several people and explain how they work before anyone writes to you.

• Project filter: separates the work by category.
• Skill bars: a visual summary of what you master. They are a support, but a percentage proves nothing on its own: back it up with real projects.

Placeholder text and sample data: all of it needs replacing

The demo is full of Latin filler text, fictitious names, and sample addresses and phone numbers, and the figures and percentages are made up for the mockup. None of that is your content: you will have to write it and upload your own images. Mazidul is a presentation theme: if you need to charge or take bookings online, you will have to add a separate plugin. Before committing, check in the demo which editor is used to modify the sections and whether you find it comfortable.

Is it suitable for a blog with many posts?

It includes a blog page and a latest posts block, but its design starts from the portfolio. If your priority is publishing every day, consider an editorial theme.

Can I change the filter categories?

The ones in the demo are samples. The usual approach is to adapt them to your projects; check in the demo how the filter is organized.

Does it look good on mobile?

It is a responsive theme. Even so, open the demo on your phone and check the gallery and the form before deciding.

Is it right for a large company?

It is designed for individual profiles or small teams. For an extensive catalog of services or products, another theme will fit better.

Testimonials and figures: publish only real ones

The demo shows client opinions and counters with sample data. If you do not have testimonials yet, remove that block instead of filling it in: made-up reviews can damage your reputation and, depending on the country, have legal consequences.
