A clinic's website has exactly one job
Getting the patient to book. Everything else (the facilities gallery, the history of the centre, the welcome video) either serves that or is surplus. Most medical sites fail the same way: they look good, they say a lot, and the phone number sits in the footer.
Medcity is a WordPress theme for hospitals, clinics, private practices and health centres, with the pages that kind of site needs already built.
What comes ready
- Eleven or more homepages and nine different concepts, combinable with each other.
- The pages the sector actually uses: departments, practitioner profiles, services and appointments.
- Seven headers and over a hundred interface blocks for building pages without starting from nothing.
- One-click demo import, so you begin from something built rather than a blank page.
How it is edited
With Elementor, which is included, plus the theme's own builder. Revolution Slider is bundled too. Contact Form 7, WooCommerce and WPML all work with it, so the form, the shop and the second language do not force you to hunt for odd alternatives.
What has to be solved separately
Two important things, and the second one is not optional:
Real appointment booking. The theme ships appointment page templates, which is presentation. An actual system with each practitioner's diary, available slots, confirmation and reminders is a separate booking plugin. Worth deciding that before building the site rather than after.
Health data. A form where the patient types their reason for consulting collects special category data under GDPR. That requires a lawful basis, clear information, encryption in transit and a retention policy. A form emailing symptoms around does not comply, and this is a sector where that gets fined.

Private clinics, specialist practices, dental centres, opticians, physiotherapy, veterinary practices and pharmacies with a presence online.
