About MF – Multipurpose WordPress Theme
In a multipurpose theme, the builder matters more than the design
Importing a beautiful demo and discovering that it is built with a page builder you do not want to use is the most common way to lose an afternoon with a multipurpose theme. MF starts from there: its demos are built with Elementor or WPBakery Page Builder, and it also supports the WordPress block editor with its own patterns. Before looking at colors, decide which tool you will work with, because the whole site will be edited with it.
It suits very different businesses: clinics, law firms, restaurants, architecture studios, photographers, agencies, shops or landing pages. That is both its strength and its risk: it offers a lot, but almost nothing is designed exclusively for your sector.
How to build a small law firm website with MF
Let us take a case: a firm that needs a serious website with services, a blog and a contact page.
1. Choosing the demo
The importer filters by builder and by category, and lets you search and preview. Elementor demos only ask for the plugins they use. The photos you will see are placeholders and are not included: the firm has to add its own, and it is best to do it early, because a demo with unchanged stock photos is spotted at first glance.
2. Setting the identity
In the theme options you choose one of 10 color schemes or your own color, and from more than 700 Google Fonts. That choice also reaches the blocks and the editor. It supports an SVG logo and retina images.
3. Header and menu
There are 14 header layouts, with sticky or transparent versions, and built-in mega menus. A firm with many practice areas (civil, labor, commercial) will appreciate the mega menu. The transparent header only looks good if the cover image leaves the menu readable, so test it with your real photo.
4. Content
You get 12 blog layouts and 36 portfolio layouts, plus five block patterns: hero, features, stats, pricing table and call to action. For forms and newsletters it is compatible with Contact Form 7 and MailChimp for WordPress.
5. Extras
It includes its own plugins such as MF Job Board, MF Event, MF Login, MF PDF Downloader or MF WhatsApp Chat. If you need an appointment or booking system, the theme does not include one.
Questions before importing the demo
- Can I avoid page builders? Yes, with the block editor: the theme styles the WordPress blocks and ships five patterns. You will have fewer visual templates than with an Elementor or WPBakery demo.
- Do the demo photos come with it? No. They are imported as placeholders and you must replace them with your own.
- Does it include a child theme? Yes, it is included.
- Does it work for a multilingual site? It is translation ready (the .pot file is included), compatible with WPML and Polylang, and supports right-to-left languages.
- Is it good for a shop? It is WooCommerce ready, but it is a general-purpose theme: if your business is the shop, check in the commercial demo how the product page and cart look.
MF and the cookie notice: a help, not a guarantee
MF includes a GDPR cookie notice, plus a preloader and a scroll-to-top button. It is a tool, not a guarantee: whether your site complies with the regulations depends on how you configure cookies, forms and legal texts.
With so many options, MF can be more than you need
It ships with sliders (Slider Revolution, LayerSlider, Master Slider), grid plugins (The Grid, Essential Grid) and Element Pack Pro for Elementor. If your site is a simple one, do not activate everything: there are performance options such as lazy loading, disabling emojis and choosing the icon library. A single builder, one header and few extensions give you a lighter site that is easier to maintain.
