About Monetay – Financial and Investment WordPress Theme
A financial website that doesn't look like a template
Someone about to trust you with their savings or their company looks at your website the way they would look at an office: if anything sounds like filler, they leave. The problem with many finance websites is not the design but the generic phrases and the unsupported figures. Monetay is a WordPress theme for finance and investment, with the usual pages already laid out.
One detail about the demo: it uses progress bars with percentages and placeholder text. They are layout examples, not data. In finance, every figure you publish must be provable, and if you talk about returns, check your country's rules on advertising investments.
The Monetay pages for presenting a firm
The theme spreads the content across these pieces:
- Home: three variants, a classic home, a landing page and a home with video.
- Company: About page, team, clients, pricing and frequently asked questions.
- Services: a listing page and another one for each individual service.
- Portfolio: as a grid, in three or four columns, and those last two also with spacing between items.
- Blog: as a grid, with the sidebar on the left or on the right.
- Contact: its own page, plus the quote request form that appears on the home page.
The demo home chains together an introduction, six service blocks, team, a form to request a quote, cases, questions, testimonials and latest posts.
No calculators and no bank connection
Monetay is a showcase. It does not include investment calculators, loan simulators, live quotes, a client area or a payment gateway. If your business needs any of those tools, you will have to add them with another plugin. Also check in the demo how the quote form works and whether you will need a forms plugin.
Questions before choosing Monetay for an advisory firm or a fund
Is it suitable for an accounting firm or a financial consultancy? Yes, it has room for services, team, rates, frequently asked questions and cases. That is exactly what those businesses usually publish.
Can I charge or sell financial products from the theme? No. It does not include a shop or payments. It is useful for capturing leads, not for closing the deal online.
Can I use the demo texts? No. They are placeholder text and they also talk about IT services, UI/UX design and apps, not investment.
Is it good for a personal finance blog? It has three blog layouts, but the whole is not designed as a content magazine.
The IT texts in the demo are the first thing to rewrite
The demo talks about IT solutions, mobile apps and years of experience in software, and it includes sample team names, address, phone and email. If you leave them, your investment website will tell a different story. It is best to start with the home page and the services, continue with pricing and team, and leave the blog and the portfolio for last.
Replace the percentages in the bars with real data or remove those bars, and rewrite the frequently asked questions with your clients' real doubts: how your fees are calculated, what the risks are, what paperwork they need. That is where a visitor decides whether to call you.
