Builder animations run out exactly where the good part starts

Every builder ships animations. They all do the same thing: make a block appear from below when it enters the screen. It is fine and the amazement lasts two seconds.

What they do not ship is what comes next: an animation that moves forward and back with the visitor's scrolling instead of firing once and finishing, a stroke drawing itself at the speed of the mouse wheel, a shape morphing into another. That is not the same thing slightly better: it is a different technology, and until now it meant writing code.

Motion.page puts that layer on top of your builder through a visual interface. Underneath it works with GSAP, the library these things get made with when a programmer makes them.

What the official Motion.page licence covers

The plugin's full features activated on your site, the developer's updates while the licence is current and support for getting it running. The GPLClub team does the activation on your domain.

What it does

• Scroll-linked animation, controlling where each effect starts and where it ends.
• Entrances and exits for elements, with fine control over timing.
• SVG drawing and morphing, the vector effects that used to be hours of programming.
• Mouse reaction: elements responding to movement or clicks.
• Works over any builder: Elementor, Bricks, Oxygen, Breakdance or the block editor.

A detail agencies appreciate: it does not fill the database with traces or leave the site glued to one more tool.

When it pays

When the design is the sales argument. Portfolios, studios, product brands and launch pages: sites where the visitor should remember the experience, not merely read the text.

When you already know what you want and only lack the tool. If you are coming from fighting native animations, this is exactly the next step up.

And the uncomfortable part, which hardly anybody says: animating is easy and restraining yourself is the hard bit. A site where everything moves tires the reader within three paragraphs, and on a phone it annoys more than it pleases. The rule that holds is saving movement for what you want looked at, and leaving the rest still.

About licensing and the GPL

The code is distributed under the GPL licence and its use is free. Updates, support and activation against the developer's servers are separate services contracted with them. They are not the same thing, and buying one is not buying the other.
