A band usually lives on social networks and streaming platforms, and its website ends up forgotten, hard to change or half-built by an acquaintance. Musical Vibe Pro is a clean, simple, mobile-friendly theme designed for musicians and music groups, which lets you customize almost everything without writing code.
What your own website has that your profiles don't: you decide what is seen first, what each menu is called and what message someone gets when they arrive from a link. This theme gives you the design tools to control it.
It suits you less if you want something very music-specific that comes ready-made. Keep this in mind:
- It is a general-purpose theme with a musical look: its features include no player, gig calendar or discography.
- If you need any of those, you will have to add a separate plugin.
- To sell tickets or records online you need WooCommerce, which is an independent plugin.
A front page built with a slider and widgets
The front page is what a new fan sees first, and here it is built with a featured slider with advanced options and a widget area for the home page.
The theme adds its own widgets for placing static or dynamic content in sidebars and footers. You can also place the sidebar in a different position for a given page or post, which is handy if you want a tour page to look different from the blog.
Colors, fonts and logo so it looks like your project
A metal band and an acoustic duo shouldn't share the same look. Musical Vibe Pro includes color pickers to change the whole theme, plus predefined color combinations applied with one click. Typography supports several Google Fonts and can be adjusted.
You can also upload your logo from the Customizer, set a header image that represents the band and edit the footer credit text. Everything is previewed in real time before publishing, so you can test without breaking the live site.
Merchandise with WooCommerce, but you set up the shop
The theme is compatible with WooCommerce, so T-shirts, vinyl or tickets can be sold without changing design. That compatibility doesn't create the shop: you will need to install WooCommerce, upload the products and set up payments and shipping.
