Built for labs and research centers that must look credible in a single visit
Whoever lands on a laboratory website is rarely just curious. It is usually a purchasing manager, a researcher or a company that has to pick a supplier and cannot judge the analysis itself, only the impression left by the people offering it. A makeshift website, with vague copy and no clear way to ask for a quote, rules the lab out before anyone talks to it. NovaLab is built for that profile: laboratories, scientific or medical research, biology, chemistry, pharmacy and related businesses.
It is not the right choice if you are looking for:
- An appointment or booking system for patients: it is not among its features.
- A private area for delivering results to clients.
- Working with Elementor: the theme uses its own editor, Bold Builder.
If you add forms that collect health data, handling that data is your responsibility and you should review it before publishing.
Four homepages that look like an institute, not a generic template
NovaLab comes with four homepages of distinctive design and carefully built inner pages, plus page transitions and typography with character. It is responsive and retina ready, with support for RTL and one-page websites.
To organize a laboratory's information it includes several useful pieces:
- Service elements, cards with icon or image, tabs and accordions to explain lines of analysis.
- Counters, percentage bars and progress bars for your own figures.
- Testimonials, a price list, Google or OpenStreetMap maps and a post or image grid.
- Several header styles (including a sticky header), a mega menu for many sections, a custom footer and color schemes.
The cost calculator answers what many labs avoid saying
The first question of almost every potential client is how much an analysis or a study costs, and most websites in the sector dodge it with a generic form. NovaLab includes the customizable Cost Calculator plugin by Bold Themes, so visitors can get an idea of the cost before writing to you. That way you receive more focused inquiries and fewer messages that only ask for the price.
If you prefer not to show figures, the price list element and a Contact Form 7 form cover the classic route of requesting a quote.
Bold Builder: editing without code, with one point to check
The editor is drag and drop, with responsive options. It lets you copy and paste blocks between pages and even between websites, show content for a limited period, hide it depending on screen resolution and change global settings on specific pages. It also includes Bold Timeline Lite to display milestones or the history of the center.
Inside Bold Builder there is an artificial intelligence text generation feature. In a laboratory, treat it as a draft: any claim about methods, results or accreditations must be reviewed by someone who knows the subject before it is published.

Can I start from a demo? Yes, there is a one-click demo content importer. Afterwards you replace texts and images with your own from the theme options panel.
Is it suitable for a multilingual website? It is translation ready and compatible with WPML.
Can I sell products? It is compatible with WooCommerce, but the design is aimed at presenting services and research, not at an online store.
Does it work with Yoast and caching? It is compatible with Yoast and with W3 Total Cache.
