The phone number, the link to the contact page or the offer of the month usually live in the footer, exactly the area visitors only see if they scroll through the whole page. On a long page, someone deciding whether to get in touch has to scroll all the way down to find you, and many give up before that. OceanWP Sticky Footer Addon solves this with a bottom bar that stays attached to the edge of the screen while people browse.
It is a simple extension with a single job. It does not try to redesign your site: it adds an always-visible strip with the bare minimum you want within reach.
Menu, text and colors: what you can set up in the OceanWP Sticky Footer bar
The bar supports two kinds of content and a finish of your choice:
- Menu: a menu inside the bar, useful for links you want one tap away (contact, offers, policies).
- Text: your own line of text, for example opening hours, a notice or a short sentence with a phone number.
- Colors: you pick your own so the bar fits the brand and does not look like a patch.
- Typography: there are typography fields for the bar's menu and text.
- Hide on mobile: you can hide the menu, the text or both on small screens.
That last option matters more than it seems: on a phone, a fixed bar takes space from the content exactly where the thumb reads and taps. Deciding what survives on small screens is the difference between a help and a nuisance.

Local business aiming for calls
If you want people to call or write to you, a bar with the phone number in the text and a link to contact in the menu saves visitors from hunting for them. Think carefully about what you say: one short sentence works better than a paragraph.
Store or catalog with occasional campaigns
A text with the current promotion and a menu link to the offers section give the campaign visibility. When it ends, you change the text.
Blog or long-form content site
On long articles, a reader who reaches the middle is already interested. A bar with links to subscribe, categories or contact gives them a next step without making them scroll to the end.
Questions before installing it
Can I show the menu on desktop and hide it on mobile?
Yes. Menu and text can be hidden on small screens, together or separately, so on mobile you can keep just one of the two.
Can I change colors and fonts?
Yes: colors are chosen freely, and the menu and the text have their own typography fields.
Does it replace the regular footer?
What it offers is a bar with a menu and text. It is not a footer builder, so check in the demo how it coexists with the footer you already have.
Only menu and text: no forms or elaborate buttons
The bar is designed for a menu and a line of text. If you are looking for forms, search boxes, image banners or custom-designed buttons, this extension is not the right tool.
