For the freelancer who builds sites for a different industry every month
When you work for very different clients, a clinic on Monday and a shop on Thursday, what costs you hours is not the design but starting every project from a blank page and rebuilding the same sections over and over. Outgrid is made for that pace: a multipurpose theme built on Elementor, with demos for small business sites, corporate sites, landing pages, blogs, sales pages and online shops.
It is not the best option if you want a niche theme with fixed features for a single industry. Nor if you don't want to work with Elementor: all the design is built with that page builder, and without it the theme loses its reason to exist.
More than 500 sections so you don't repeat work on every project
The UiCore library gathers more than 500 pre-designed sections and pages. The idea is to pick blocks and combine them. For a freelancer this changes how you quote: the structure is solved with reusable pieces and your time goes into what really sets the client apart, their copy and their images.
Outgrid and the design control Elementor gives you
- Live editing: you see each element while you style it.
- Freehand positioning: absolute or fixed position, inline elements and vertical and horizontal flex alignment.
- 26 shape dividers and backgrounds with image, slideshow, video or solid and gradient color.
- Fonts: any Google Font or your own uploaded ones.
- Revision history, undo and redo, draft mode: you work on one version without touching the published one.
- Export and import designs between sites through a JSON file, handy for carrying your blocks from one client to another.
More than 200 elements, but those tied to other plugins need their plugin
Besides the usual ones (accordions, tabs, counters, galleries, pricing tables, testimonials, timelines, maps, players), Outgrid includes elements for WooCommerce, forms such as Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms or Fluent Form, and courses with Tutor LMS. There are also elements for donations, events, forums and communities.
Here is the limit to keep in mind: an element that connects to another plugin needs that plugin installed to be of any use. The theme gives you the widget, not the form, the shop or the booking system. Before promising a feature to a client, check in the demo which plugin powers it.
Importing a demo without leaving the site half-finished
The importer lets you choose which demo to install and which content to bring in: pages, posts, widgets, menus, media and theme options. It installs the required plugins and warns you if something fails. Think of the demo as a starting point: you will have to replace texts, images and contact details before publishing anything.

Does it work for an online shop?
It includes WooCommerce elements (products, cart, checkout, categories, mini cart), so you can design the shop with Elementor. The shop itself is run by WooCommerce, which you must have installed.
Can I use it if I can't code?
Yes, the work is done by dragging and dropping in Elementor. Even so, some basic knowledge of Elementor helps you get the most out of freehand editing.
Can I reuse my design on another site?
Yes, you can export and import designs between sites with a JSON file, and save elements to reuse them on other pages.
