About Papri – Portfolio Creative WordPress Theme

Papri: a portfolio with three home pages to show less and show it better

Most portfolios fail from excess, not from lack: twenty projects mixed together, with no order, and the visitor leaves without knowing what to hire you for. Someone arriving at your site usually has a specific job in mind and only looks for a sign that you have done something similar.

Papri is a WordPress theme built for that job. In its demo the projects are tagged as branding, creative and photography, a way of forcing you to decide which categories you want the client to see first. It includes three home page versions, three portfolio ones and the pages a studio usually needs: about us, team, blog and contact.

Papri depending on your situation

You are an independent photographer or illustrator

You can choose between the three home pages and the three portfolio layouts so that the images carry all the weight. If you work alone, the team page can double as a personal introduction.

You run a small branding or design studio

The demo includes a services block with three parts (discover, brand and build) and a team section where each person appears with their trade: designer, photographer, writer. It helps clients understand who does what before they write to you.

You have a business and want to show products

The demo shows product projects, such as the branding of a bottle, and works as a visual showcase. Do not plan it as an online store: what you see is a gallery of work, not a cart or a checkout process.

Five ways to lay out the Papri blog

For a portfolio, the blog is where you tell the process behind each project, and layout matters there. The theme offers these variants:

  • Two-column blog
  • Three-column blog
  • Blog with a left sidebar
  • Blog with a right sidebar
  • Blog with no sidebar

The home page also shows a recent news block and the demo includes a search feature, so posts do not get buried.

The demo texts and figures are placeholders

Everything you see in the demo is sample content: lorem ipsum texts, made-up names and a counter block with sample figures. Replace or remove it before publishing, especially the counters, which should not show data that is not yours. The demo form has name, email, subject and message fields; check whether it works on its own or whether you need a separate forms plugin.

Questions before choosing Papri

How many home pages does it have? Three, plus three portfolio pages.

Is it good for more than a portfolio? Yes, for presenting the services, team and blog of a studio or professional. Selling products with a cart is not what the demo shows.

Can I set up a blog? Yes, with five different layouts.

Does it include a contact form? There is a contact page and the demo shows a form with name, email, subject and message. Check in the demo how it is handled.

What to look at in the Papri demo before deciding

Open the three home pages and the three portfolios with your own images in mind: do your vertical photos or design screenshots look good? Also check the mobile version, because that is where many people will see your work for the first time.
