About Pin Payments Gateway for Gravity Forms

Which bank the money reaches outweighs the feature list

Your organization in Australia takes registrations, bookings or orders with a Gravity Forms form. You compare gateways by features and logos, but the question that shapes your admin work for years to come is simpler: which account the money lands in, and what paperwork it takes to get it there.

A gateway gets chosen by where your bank is, because that sets the accounts you must open and the deposits you will reconcile. Pin Payments is built for Australian companies: sales proceeds are deposited to any Australian bank account, with no merchant account or separate gateway.

This plugin, by PatSaTECH, connects that Pin Payments account to your forms to accept credit card payments, and customers pay without leaving your site.

What it adds to a payment form

  • Credit card payment through your own Pin Payments account.
  • No leaving your site: people complete the payment on your website.
  • Gravity Forms integration to sell goods and services through forms.

What Pin Payments brings on its side

These features belong to the payment service, and it is worth telling them apart from the plugin:

  • Several currencies: selling in AUD, USD, NZD and SGD.
  • Paid into your bank: deposits to any Australian account.
  • All-in-one system: no gateway or merchant account required.
  • Stored cards: customer details can be kept for future payments and subscriptions.

The service accepting a currency does not ensure your form uses it the way you expect: run a test in the currency you plan to charge.

One-off charges, yes; repeat charges, no

This is the limit that matters most: the plugin does not support recurring or subscription payments. The service stores cards for that use, but the plugin does not cover those charges. If you sell monthly fees or memberships, each repeat charge would sit outside this form.

It also does nothing without a Pin Payments account, and its deposits go to Australian bank accounts. If your bank is in another country, look at another gateway.

Account, bank and form: how to start

You need WordPress with Gravity Forms, a Pin Payments account and an Australian bank account to receive the funds. To get started:

  1. Open your Pin Payments account and have the bank account ready.
  2. Install and activate the plugin alongside Gravity Forms.
  3. Connect your Pin Payments account to the plugin.
  4. Prepare the form you will charge with.
  5. Make a test payment and check the charge appears in your Pin Payments account.

When your bank or your fees call for another gateway

If you need recurring payments, Gravity Forms Stripe captures payment on form submission and sets up recurring payments with custom intervals, plus free trials.

If your customers are in Europe, Gravity Forms Mollie accepts payments on your forms with methods such as iDEAL, Bancontact and Sofort.
