About Quadlayers WooCommerce Checkout Manager PRO
A default WooCommerce checkout rarely matches what you actually need to know about the customer: you have no use for the phone number or company name, but you miss a tax ID, a delivery date or an attached file. And every unnecessary field is one more reason to abandon the cart.
Every checkout field is a business decision
Online sellers often treat the checkout form as a technical piece that comes ready-made, when it is really the part of the store where the sale is closed or lost. Quadlayers WooCommerce Checkout Manager PRO lets you rebuild it: add your own fields, modify the ones WooCommerce provides and remove those you don't use, in the Billing, Shipping and Additional fields sections.
Editing core fields and removing the extras
You can change the values of the main Billing and Shipping fields: type, name, placeholder, class, default value and more. You can also delete unnecessary ones to shorten the form, or disable them only for certain products, product categories or user roles.
This helps if you sell digital products (no shipping address needed) mixed with physical ones, or if you have wholesale customers who must fill in different data from a regular buyer.
Conditional fields: customers only see what applies to them
A field can depend on another one: you choose the parent field, and the current field is hidden based on the value it has. The plugin detects the parent field type and offers its available options, so you don't type values by hand. A long form becomes a short one for each customer.
Extra charges based on what the customer chooses
You can attach a fee, fixed or percentage, to any field, custom or core. In select and radio fields, each option can have its own charge; the same goes for multiselect and multicheckbox fields.
- Fixed fee or percentage on the field you choose.
- Charge per option in select, radio, multiselect and multicheckbox.
Files and orders don't manage themselves
There is a field type for uploading files during checkout, of any file type. The shop manager can handle them from the order in the admin, and you can let customers edit them from the orders section of My Account. The values of custom fields can be shown on the received order and in the email the customer receives, filtering by order status or field by field.
What this solves and what it doesn't:
- Already solved: creating, editing and hiding fields, conditions, charges, file uploads and showing data in the order and email.
- You cover it: the legal validation of what you ask for (for example, tax data) and reviewing the checkout texts and design in your theme.
- With another plugin or a professional: payment gateways, invoices, tax calculation or complex shipping rules, which are not part of this plugin.
