About Quidin – Charity Fully Responsive WordPress Theme

For the association that wants a tidy shop window, not for anyone whose main goal is collecting donations

A small NGO often has plenty to tell and little structure to do it: causes in a leaflet, projects in PDFs, news on social media. Quidin starts with a ready-made charity home page: main headline, an introduction to the organization, causes, projects, blog posts, newsletter signup, testimonials and contact details with opening hours.

It suits you if you need to present causes and projects, publish news and put faces to your team. It is not the best option if your main goal is to raise money online: the demo shows no donation button or system, so if you need one, check the demo for anything similar and plan to solve it with another tool.

The Quidin demo talks like a multinational, and your organization probably isn't one

The sample texts boast of an organization founded a century ago, present in every country and "the most transparent in its field". It is demo filler. If you leave it as it is, or only half adapt it, a careful donor will notice that it doesn't fit a local association with ten volunteers.

What convinces someone who donates or volunteers is specifics: what you do, in which neighborhood or region, with how many people and how the money is used. Set aside time to rewrite the "Who we are" blocks and the four arguments on the home page with facts you can prove.

Causes, projects and blog: where everything goes in Quidin

The home page presents causes in short blocks (the demo uses examples such as hunger, clean water, electricity, human rights or diseases). Each one is a good starting point to link to a dedicated cause page.

  • Projects: there is a standard template and project pages with image, gallery, video or audio, useful if you document work in the field.
  • Blog: it supports classic, modern, listing, grid, masonry and justified layouts, plus post formats (standard, image, gallery, quote, link, video and audio).
  • Sidebar: you can place it on the left, on the right or remove it.

For an organization that posts rarely, a grid layout looks better than a long list with few posts.

Pages that come ready-made and pieces to combine

Besides the home page, the demo includes pages for presenting the organization, contact, careers, pricing, clients, FAQs and documentation. There is also a team page with an individual profile for each member, testimonials, services with their own page, a gallery and a booked appointment page.

The auxiliary pages cover what gets forgotten at launch: typography, maintenance mode, a coming soon page, a 404 error and search results.

The demo shows seven header styles and three footer styles. The individual elements include animated counters, audio, calls to action, contact forms, images, maps, sliders, tabs, text blocks and toggles.

Sign up, log in and appointments: windows to test before you publish

The demo includes sign-up and login windows with social network buttons, and a booked appointment page. If your association needs neither user accounts nor appointments, remove them so visitors aren't confused. If you do need them, check in the demo whether they cover your case or whether you will have to add another plugin. Keep in mind that collecting personal data (newsletter, sign-up) obliges you to maintain a real privacy policy.

Questions from people choosing Quidin

Can it be used for an organization that isn't a charity?

It is designed for charities and social organizations. The team, services, blog and contact pages adapt to other uses, but the cause blocks are made for an NGO.

Can I receive donations with it?

The demo doesn't show a donation system. Treat it as an informational shop window and check beforehand what you need to add.

Do I have to change the demo texts?

Yes. They are examples with figures and claims that won't be your organization's.

Does it work if I publish news often?

Yes: the blog has several layouts, post formats and sidebar options.
