About Realome – Real Estate and Realtor Block Theme

Home buyers compare areas, not agencies

A real estate website usually fails in the same way: nice photos and a listing nobody can filter. People looking for a home think first about the neighborhood and the budget, and only then about who is selling it. Realome is a block theme for agencies and agents.

It is built on full site editing (FSE): header, footer and templates are edited with blocks from the WordPress editor itself, without relying on a separate page builder.

From adding a property to the client finding it on the map

This is a real use case with Realome, showing what it solves at each step and where its limits are.

Step 1: you create the property record

Properties are their own content type, built with the Custom Post Type UI and Advanced Custom Fields plugins. You must have them installed and active, but in return you can add fields and classifications of your own. Three taxonomies come by default: locations, property types and amenities.

Step 2: you publish it in a listing

There is a listings block and two formats with a map: the map with the listing, and a side by side version with list and map. The second one helps people who want to see what is available and where it is at the same time.

Step 3: the visitor filters

A property search block lets visitors narrow down the listing. If your records have criteria of their own (for example, a classification you add yourself), you will need to create them with CPT UI and check in the demo how they behave in the search.

Step 4: they reach the single property page

The theme includes a single property template, and a block that reads the value of an ACF field so you can place each piece of data where you want it. Note: Realome organizes and displays the properties you load. If you need to bring them in from a portal or a CRM, find out beforehand how you would do that import.

Questions before choosing Realome

Do I need another plugin for the properties?

Yes: the listings rely on Custom Post Type UI and Advanced Custom Fields, so expect to have them active.

Can I add more classifications than the default ones?

Yes. Locations, property types and amenities come ready, and you can create others with CPT UI.

Does it work for rentals?

It is also designed for rentals and directories, in addition to agencies and agents. Check in the demo that the record format fits your data.

Does it adapt to mobile?

It is designed to look good on mobile. Even so, open the listings demo from your phone before deciding.

Realome also works for a portfolio, a shop and a blog

Not everything on an agency website is a property. Besides the listings block, the theme includes:

  • Portfolio with filter: useful for projects of interior design and architecture studios.
  • Testimonials block.
  • Slider and accordion.
  • Blog with a three-column layout.
  • WooCommerce compatibility: if you want to sell something, you will need to install that plugin.

The demo images are not included

The photos you see in the preview come from Unsplash and are not part of the main download. You will have to prepare your own property photos, which are what matter most in this business. The typography is Inter, from Google Fonts, and the styling is built on Tailwind.
