About Respes – Lawyer WordPress Theme
A law firm website often looks like a 2008 brochure: dense text, a phone number buried in the footer and no clue about which cases you can help with. Someone looking for a lawyer is worried and decides quickly whether the page feels organized or not.
Respes: a sober design for firms that want to sound serious
Respes is a theme for law firms and legal consultancies. Its demo shows the usual structure of a firm: a homepage with a slogan, a free consultation button, practice areas, a values section, client testimonials, news and a closing contact block with opening hours.
That structure works as a guide. Without it, lawyers tend to write about themselves (history, team, awards) before the client's problem. Here the demo's order puts practice areas and the call to consult first, which is what visitors are looking for.
Practice areas with their own page
The demo's services menu lists areas such as family law, personal injury, trusts and estates, medical law, finance law, land and assets, business law, insurance defence and civil litigation. You don't have to use those; they serve as a model for creating your own.
- One page per area: someone with an inheritance problem doesn't want to read about business law.
- Testimonials and news: spaces for client stories and articles, useful to rank for specific searches.
Elementor and the Jet plugins to build the pages
Before building the pages, keep in mind that Respes is a storefront and does not include the management of the firm.
Appointments and consultations need a separate plugin
Respes gives you the storefront, not the management of the firm. Here is what the demo shows and what you'll need to cover yourself:
- Solved: practice area structure, testimonials, news, a contact block with hours and a consultation button.
- On your own: an appointment booking system or a consultation form with its own plugin, the writing for each area, real photos of the team and the legal texts for your country.
The demo data (numbers of cases won, years of experience, testimonials, addresses) is placeholder content. Replace it with true information: promising a percentage of cases won can be problematic under your bar association's advertising rules, so check before publishing.
Frequently asked questions about Respes
