About Roadway – Logistics & Transportation Services WordPress Theme

Someone with cargo to move doesn't want your history, they want a price

Many transport companies have a website with photos of trucks and a phone number hidden in the footer. Meanwhile, the person looking for a carrier has a specific load, a destination and a date, and goes with the first one that lets them request a rate without having to call. Roadway is built around that idea: the phone number sits in the header and the home page includes a rates request form with freight type, company name, email and additional notes.

Four modes of transport, each with its own page

The demo includes service pages for ocean, truck, railway and air shipping. This matters because someone who needs to fill a container for sea transport isn't looking for the same thing as someone with an urgent air shipment, and each should land on text that speaks to their case. The rates form offers four options: road, air and sea transportation, and warehousing. That way the inquiry reaches you already sorted and you know who to pass it to.

Roadway depending on the type of company installing it

Carrier with its own fleet

You'll want the home page with featured services, the testimonials block and the phone number always in view. The demo testimonials come from clients whose business depends on cargo arriving on time: that is the fear your website has to calm.

International freight forwarder

You work with several modes at once, so the services menu with four separate pages lets you explain each route without mixing them. The contact details include address, email, hours and social networks.

Small logistics company looking to gain visibility with content

The demo blog is filled with industry articles, such as comparisons between air and ocean freight or port news. It is the kind of content that attracts people who are still deciding how to ship. It supports eight post formats (standard, gallery, image, link, audio, video, quote and status).

Three headers, three footers and five blog layouts

You can choose between three header styles and three footer styles, and place the sidebar on the left, on the right or remove it. The blog is shown as a listing, as a two- or three-column masonry, or as a two- or three-column grid. In addition, the demo includes FAQ, 404 error, about us, typography and static elements pages.

Questions from people comparing Roadway with a generic template

Does it work if I only offer road transport?

Yes. You have the truck shipping page and can leave out the others. The rates form includes the road option.

Can I offer warehousing?

The form includes it as a type of service, but the demo has no dedicated page for it. You will have to create it yourself.

Can I show customer reviews?

The demo home page has a testimonials block with name and company. Use only real opinions from your own customers.

What layouts does the blog support?

Listing, masonry and grid, with two or three columns in the last two, and an optional sidebar.

No shipment tracking or rate calculation in the demo

The form collects the inquiry details, but it does not calculate prices or let customers track their shipment. If your business needs those features, you will have to cover them with other tools. Check how the form looks in the demo before you decide.
