An exterior design studio is chosen by its finished work
Anyone hiring a new garden, a facade remodel or the landscaping of a hotel cannot try the result before paying for it. All they have to decide with are photos of finished projects, and if your website shows them poorly, they will go to another studio.
That is the starting point of Scapex: a portfolio theme designed for exterior design, landscaping and remodeling studios, where finished work is what counts. In the demo, each project shows its place and year next to the title, and it is worth keeping that with yours: clients care about where and when each project was done, not just how it turned out.
Scapex: homepage, portfolio, team and blog already set up
The demo is built as the website of an exterior design agency serving everyone from homeowners to hotels and offices. It includes:
- Homepage with a button leading to the portfolio.
- Projects block with the title, place and year of each project.
- Portfolio page for the full list of works.
- Team page with a page for each person, useful when the client wants to see who will lead the project.
- Recent blog entries on the homepage, with topics such as garden mulch or exterior paint finishes.
- Quick contact with a form, email, phone, address, working hours and Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook icons.
Three headers, three footers and six blog layouts
Scapex comes with three header styles and three footer styles, so you can decide how much visual weight the menu has compared with the photos. The blog offers listing layouts (two variants), masonry (also in three columns) and grid (also in three columns), with the sidebar on the left, on the right or removed.
The post formats include gallery, image, link, quote and video.
The theme also includes templates for pricing, FAQ, a 404 page, maintenance mode and a coming soon page, plus a typography page and an elements page.
Is Scapex the right base for your studio?
It fits if your business is sold through images of finished work and you want a website focused on the portfolio.
What you will not find is a management tool: the demo shows a contact form, but not a quoting, booking or payment system. And the result depends on your material: with small, dark or careless photos, no layout can fix it.
Can I show the before and after of a project?
A slider-style comparison does not appear in the demo, so do not count on it.
Does it have an online store?
The demo includes no store: it is oriented to presenting projects and capturing inquiries, not to selling products.
What should I check in the demo before deciding?
Check how the portfolio looks on mobile and which header works best with your logo, because those are the two elements that most shape the first impression.
