A good email sent at the wrong time becomes noise
Almost every WooCommerce store takes care over what its emails say and almost none take care over when they arrive. If the payment notice goes out just as the order is left, the customer is still deciding. If seven messages land in their inbox at once, none of them gets read. The sending moment is the part of communication that gets adjusted least and is noticed most.
ShopMagic Delayed Actions adds that time factor to ShopMagic: you decide how long each email waits before going out. You can delay it by any number of minutes, hours, days or weeks. Everything is configured from the dashboard, with no need to touch the functions.php file, child themes or modified templates.
Three stores, three ways to use ShopMagic Delayed Actions
The store with unpaid orders
When a customer leaves an order half-finished, a payment reminder with the right delay can win that sale back. Not too soon, so it does not cross with someone about to pay, and not too late, when they have already forgotten about you.
The store that wants repeat customers
A follow-up email a few days after the purchase, or a sequence of messages spread over time, helps you stay with the customer and encourage them to come back. You can send a single email or build a sequence, and space it out so each message gets its own slot.
The store with one-off promotions
If you want to send a coupon or an offer on a specific date, such as next Friday or a free shipping day, the delay lets you schedule it in advance instead of launching it by hand that day.
What you can see and stop once it is scheduled
Scheduling emails without being able to see what is in progress is unsettling. Here the sending queue is always in view:
- Queue of scheduled emails: check which messages are waiting to go out.
- One-click cancellation: if something in the queue should not be sent, for example a reminder with a wrong detail, you remove it without code.
- Free timing: you do not have to choose between preset intervals; you set the delay that suits each email.
A practical tip: before activating a long sequence, check the queue with a test order to confirm the delays are what you expected and that messages do not overlap.

It needs ShopMagic installed and focuses on delaying emails
This add-on is not a standalone tool: without the ShopMagic core it does nothing. And it has a single job, controlling when WooCommerce emails go out. It does not replace the plugin that defines which automations exist, nor does it write the messages for you: you keep building those in ShopMagic. Think of it as the clock of your automations, not the whole engine.
