About ShopMagic Review Requests Addon
Your customer was happy, but nobody comes back to leave a review
In a WooCommerce store, the satisfied customer receives the parcel and carries on with their life; the one who had a problem does remember to write. If you don't ask for the review at the right moment, your product pages end up with few reviews and a disproportionate share of critical ones. ShopMagic Review Requests exists to solve exactly that: it asks for the review automatically, by email, without you having to remember to do it by hand.
It suits you if you already use (or plan to use) ShopMagic to automate your store's emails and want to add review requests to the same system. It is not for you if you are looking for a plugin that displays reviews with stars, widgets or review badges: here reviews are requested and acknowledged, but their look on your site is not designed.

An email with a direct link to the product purchased
The friction of a review is getting to the form. The add-on adds review requests to WooCommerce orders with direct links to each product, so the customer jumps from the email to the page where they write their opinion, without searching for it.
So you don't have to start from scratch, it comes with 3 predefined email templates that you can use as they are or adapt to your tone. An email from a cosmetics store shouldn't sound the same as one from a tool store, and here you can customize it.
Thanking for the review, and deciding whether it deserves a coupon
The automation doesn't stop at the request. You can also trigger an email when the customer leaves a product review, with a customized thank-you note. That gesture closes the loop and leaves a good last impression after the purchase.
ShopMagic can also send a discount coupon in that email. If you do, thank customers for any review, not only the positive ones: making the gift conditional on a favorable opinion distorts the ratings of your products and can get you into trouble.
Approving before publishing and adjusting the automation
The add-on includes the option to approve new reviews before they are published, useful if you want to check what appears on your product pages. It also offers filters and actions to adjust ShopMagic automations, something a more technical user will appreciate.
It is compatible with other ShopMagic add-ons. For example, if you don't want the email to go out right when the order is completed, the Delayed Actions add-on lets you delay a send by a number of minutes, hours, days or weeks. It is a separate add-on, not included in this one.
