The WordPress list screen was not made for working

It does what it was designed for: seeing the latest posts and editing them. The moment a site does anything beyond publishing articles, it falls short. You have two hundred requests with their status, or a catalogue with custom fields, or orders passing through four stages, and all the screen offers is a table with fixed columns and a search box that only looks at the title.

The usual move then is exporting to a spreadsheet in order to look properly. And that is where the mess starts: two copies of the same data, one alive and one dead.

SleekView exists for that gap: it shows your data the way it needs to be looked at, without taking it out of WordPress or changing how it is stored.

When it pays

If your WordPress is an internal tool. Request handling, project tracking, inventories or anything somebody on your team opens daily.

If you end up exporting to spreadsheets. That is the exact sign the list screen has become too small for you.

If you only publish articles, you do not need it: the usual screen does its job.

If what you are missing is creating the data model (content types, fields and relations), that is a different layer: the Crocoblock suite fits there.

About licensing and the GPL

The code is distributed under the GPL licence and its use is free. Updates, support and activation against the developer's servers are separate services contracted with them. They are not the same thing, and buying one is not buying the other.

With that, our team activates it on your site using the developer credentials, usually the same day, and emails you when it is live. No files or codes are sent, and the licence stays tied to that domain.
