About SliceWP Pro
An affiliate programme with no middleman taking a cut
Affiliate networks charge a commission on the commission: besides what you pay the affiliate, the platform takes its share on every sale. And the data on who brings you customers lives in their system, not yours.
SliceWP builds the programme inside your WordPress. There is no platform fee and the data is yours, with everything that implies too: the management is yours.
How commissions get split
- Fixed amount or percentage, and different for each affiliate if you want to reward the ones bringing volume.
- By product or category, for paying more on what carries more margin.
- Target bonuses, when an affiliate passes a certain number of sales.
- Tracking by coupon, as well as by link, which is how content creators work.
What the affiliate sees and what you see
They get their own area: they register through a form you configure, pull their links, and see in real time the visits they have brought, the commissions and the payment status. You get the reports on visits, commissions and revenue, with file export, and bulk PayPal payouts from the admin itself.
It integrates with WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads and the most used membership systems.
What the plugin does not solve, which is half the work
Recruiting affiliates. Setting the programme up is an afternoon; getting somebody to use it is another matter. Good affiliates do not appear because you published a page: they get found one by one, and they are convinced by the commission, yes, but above all by the product converting and by being paid on time.
Policing the sharp practice. It is the problem that arrives the moment the programme works. Affiliates bidding on your brand name in ads and charging you commission for a customer who was buying anyway. Your coupons published on discount sites capturing the sale on the last click. Self-purchases. None of that gets detected by software: you detect it by reading the reports, and you prevent it by writing the rules beforehand, in terms the affiliate accepts on registering.
Disclosing the relationship. Anyone recommending a product and getting paid for it has to say so. The responsibility is the affiliate's, but the brand appearing in that recommendation is yours, so worth requiring it in the programme's terms.
