About Solicitor Law Business Responsive WordPress Theme

A law firm that wants a serious website without commissioning a custom design

Building a law firm website usually ends in one of two extremes: a generic business template with the word "lawyers" pasted on top, or a custom design that takes months and that nobody dares to touch. Solicitor sits in between: it is a theme made for law firms and legal advisory practices, with the structure their clients expect to see.

It suits you if you are a small or mid-sized firm, or a practice with several areas of law, that needs to present its team, services and contact details. It does not suit you if you are looking for a case management system, a private client area with documents or a calendar with paid appointments: it is a presentation theme, not a working tool for the firm. Nor is it meant for those who want a minimalist one-page design: the demo is a complete corporate website with many sections.

Clients choose a firm by the lawyer's face, and Solicitor knows it

People who hire a lawyer almost never compare fees: they look at who the person is, which cases they handle and whether they seem like someone they can talk to without fear. That is why Solicitor's structure puts the team and the services up front instead of hiding them in a menu.

  • Team: profile cards with job title and email, from management to the heads of each area (civil, family, finance).
  • Practice areas: a list of services with an individual page for each one, useful if you handle bankruptcy, real estate, tax, litigation or immigration.
  • Cases and testimonials: space to show featured cases and client opinions with name and city.

Which pages Solicitor already has built

The demo is not just a home page. It includes a full menu structure:

  • Home in three variants, one of them with a slider (Slider Revolution) and two additional header styles.
  • About us: overview, team, history and testimonials.
  • Services as a list, a grid and an individual page.
  • News as a list and a grid, and events as a list, a grid and a calendar, with a detail page.
  • Shop with cart, checkout and user account.
  • Careers: why work with us, vacancies and trainee solicitor positions.
  • Contact, plus typography and shortcode pages.

The events section fits well if you organise seminars or client sessions, and the careers section if you recruit junior lawyers. If you do neither, you can leave them out of the menu.

Appointment form and responsive design

On the demo home page there is a form to request a meeting with a case type selector (business, family, civil or other) and a confidentiality note. It is a good idea for filtering enquiries, but it is a contact form, not a booking with a calendar: do not expect it to block hours or charge for the consultation.

The theme is responsive. It lets you choose between a wide or boxed layout, with a pattern or image background in boxed mode, and several colour skins.

Texts and legal data you will have to change

The demo comes with filler text, sample names, fictitious phone numbers and news from 2016. All of it has to be replaced, and it pays to be careful: on a legal website, an invented detail left published undermines credibility instantly. The footer links to privacy policy, terms, payment terms and cookies pages, but you or your adviser will have to write them according to your activity; the theme does not generate them or guarantee any regulatory compliance.

The shop is not meant for invoicing fees. If you do not need it, do not activate it.

Frequently asked questions

Is it useful for anything other than a law firm?

The demo's wording is clearly legal.

Can I book appointments with a calendar?

No. It includes a meeting request form; for a schedule with time slots you would need a separate plugin.

Does it include the home page slider?

The demo uses Slider Revolution on one of the home pages. Check in your installation that the slider is available before building your design around it.

Can I remove the shop and the events?

They are menu items in the demo, so you can do without them and keep only services, team and contact.
