About Solox – Spa & Beauty WordPress Theme
Built for a centre that already has treatment rooms, not one that needs online booking
Whoever builds a website for a spa or salon usually runs into the same things: generic business templates with a photo of flowers, a service menu that is impossible to scan on a phone, and no clear idea of how to present a treatment. Solox is a WordPress theme for spa, beauty, hair, nail and wellness centres and cosmetic shops, and it is designed to showcase the business, not to manage it.
It works if you need a presentation site with services, team, gallery, contact and, if you want, a small shop. It does not work if you are looking for a booking system with a calendar, appointment payments or client records: the theme does not describe anything like that. If your centre lives off online appointments, you will have to add a separate booking plugin and check in the demo how it fits the design.
It also does not come with the images and media elements from the demo: they are only for the preview, so you will need to add your own photos. In a beauty business that is no small detail, because the site sells through what people see.
Five home pages and five one-page versions to test how you present the centre
In a spa, the first screen decides whether the visitor keeps reading or leaves. Solox includes five home page versions and five one-page versions, plus more than 30 inner pages. That lets you choose between a multi-section site or a long single page that leads straight to contact, which is useful for a small salon with few services.
- Dark versions: there are dark variants of the home and inner pages, which give a more nocturnal, luxurious tone compared with the usual light, clean look.
- Megamenu: it includes megamenu styles, handy when you have many treatment categories (facials, body, manicure, massage) and do not want to hide them.
- Header and footer with Elementor: a header and footer builder with Elementor, so you can adjust them without touching code.
What you can change yourself in Solox without a developer
The theme includes live customization, demo content import and a child theme, useful if you later want to modify templates without losing your changes. The SVG icons suit service pictograms well, and it includes Swiper and OwlCarousel for sliders and carousels of treatments or testimonials.
Importing the demo gives you a starting point with the structure already built. After that you only have to replace texts and images with those of your centre. It works with Elementor, the page builder used to edit the content.
Cosmetics shop and email capture
It is compatible with WooCommerce, so you can sell products such as creams, oils or your own cosmetics brand, and it has a cart counter. It is a complementary shop, not a system designed to sell vouchers or session packages: if you need that, check how your WooCommerce setup handles it.
It also comes integrated with Mailchimp, to collect emails from people who want news or offers. If you sell cosmetics or wellness products, remember that commercial email requires the subscriber's consent.
Code, languages and browsers
It is built on Bootstrap 5, with valid HTML5 and CSS3, W3C-validated code and a structure designed for SEO. That helps to have a clean base, but it does not replace writing good copy for each treatment. It is fully responsive, compatible with RTL (useful for sites in Arabic or Hebrew) and the files are commented for whoever has to work on them.
The theme is not optimized for Gutenberg: visual work is done with Elementor. If you prefer the native block editor, keep that in mind.
