About Sonorama – Music Band & Musician WordPress Theme

An independent musician often has material scattered everywhere: songs on SoundCloud or Bandcamp, videos on YouTube, tour dates in a social post that gets buried in two days. Anyone who finds you on Google sees nothing organized and leaves. Sonorama is a theme designed to bring all of that together on a single website of your own.

Building a band website step by step with Sonorama

Imagine you have a band and want a website before your next gig. This is how the process goes with this theme:

  • You start from a color: it comes with 16 ready-made color styles. Pick the one that fits the band's look and tweak it afterwards, instead of starting from scratch.
  • You build the pages: it includes a visual drag-and-drop page builder. You place sections without touching code, and each section can have its own background: color, image or pattern.
  • You add the music and video: you can embed content from SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, Vimeo and other services that support embeds.
  • You introduce the band: there are section types designed for music, such as biography, discography, tour dates, news and contact.
  • You bring the home page to life: you can use a parallax effect on sections and a slider adapted to mobile.

Tour dates are what goes stale fastest

The part of a band's website that suffers most is the schedule: past gigs that are still published make the group look inactive. In this theme the tour dates section is designed to show only upcoming events, so you don't have to delete what has already happened. It is worth checking in the demo how it looks when no dates are loaded.

Frequently asked questions about Sonorama

Is it suitable for a DJ or a solo singer?

Yes. It is designed for bands, professional DJs, singers and artists in the music industry in general.

Can I change the typography?

Yes, the theme lets you change the font.

Does it look good on mobile?

It is responsive, including the slider, and it includes retina display optimizations for the main graphics.

Do the demo images come with it?

No. The demo images are for display only and are not part of the package, so you will need to use your own photos and covers.

Does it sell records or tickets?

It has no store or ticket sales. It is a theme for showing your music and your schedule, not for taking payments. If you need to sell, you will have to add a separate plugin.

An older theme worth testing first

Sonorama has been on the market for a while and its foundation relies on the Visual Composer page builder, which is part of how it works. Anyone looking for a more modern editor may notice the difference. It is best to review the demo and check that the editing flow feels comfortable before building the whole site on top of it.

Modular design and tidy code

All elements are designed as combinable pieces, so you can reorder the page according to what you want to highlight: a new single, a video or the tour. The code is valid HTML5 and CSS3, commented, and works on the main browsers, as well as tablets and phones. It includes documentation with tutorials for working with the theme, useful if you plan to set it up yourself without a developer.
