An empty court at mid-morning is gone for good
A tennis or padel club sells hours that expire: Tuesday's free court at eleven can't be sold on Wednesday. That's why its website isn't just there to show the facilities: it has to make clear which sports are on offer, which courts, and how to get in touch or book. Many club websites fail right there, with plenty of photos and no clear path to the court.
Spyn is a theme designed for clubs and sports activities: tennis, padel, squash, ping pong, beach tennis and others. It lets you build pages with all the club's information and includes custom sports components for receiving court reservations.
Elementor, sliders and forms already inside Spyn
The theme comes with three plugins that cover the basics of a club website:
- Elementor: the drag and drop page builder. Use it to lay out schedules, rates, coaches or tournaments without coding.
- Amazing Slides: sliders, carousels and hero scenes to open the home page with the club's courts and events.
- Contact Form 7: forms with Ajax submission, CAPTCHA and Akismet spam filtering, useful for class requests or membership enquiries.
The design is responsive, which is key if most of your members check the website from their phone on the way to the court.
Two demos with very different scope
When you import the content you choose between two versions. The original demo is a simplified version, without scroll effects or transitions and without the shop section. It has limited functionality, designed for people new to WordPress.
The new demos include all the features shown in the live preview and are built with Elementor. Each demo asks for different plugins, which are listed during the import.
Original demo or new demos: decide before importing Spyn
The choice shapes the result. The new demos need the Pro version of Elementor with all widgets (or equivalent free alternatives), and that plugin is not included. Without it, the layout won't look like the live preview. The original demo is simpler, but gives up the effects and the shop.
About reservations: the theme includes components to receive them, but check in the demo how they work (whether there is a calendar, online payment or just a request) before promising it to your members.
Is it only for tennis?
No. It is designed for padel, squash, ping pong, beach tennis and other club sports.
Can I build it without knowing how to code?
Yes, Elementor is edited by dragging and dropping. If this is your first WordPress website, the original demo is the simplest option.
Do all the demos have a shop?
No. The original demo does not include the shop section.
Do I need Elementor Pro?
To import the new demos with the correct layout, yes (or free alternatives with all widgets). The original demo does not require it in the same way.
