About Stackable - Gutenberg Blocks (Premium)
You are a freelancer or agency and your clients edit the site: that is where Premium pays off
Building the first page in Gutenberg is easy. The hard part comes later: the client duplicates a section, changes a color by eye, someone adds a different button, and three months on the site no longer looks like the design you delivered.
It suits you if you build sites with the block editor and the free version falls short on fine control, shared styles or dynamic content. It does not suit you if you work with another visual builder: these are Gutenberg blocks and they only exist inside that editor. And if your site is a simple landing page, the free version already brings responsive design, hover states and a pattern library, so Premium pays off when you need what follows.
Watch the integrations: fields from ACF, Meta Box or JetEngine can only be displayed if you already have that plugin installed, and the same goes for WooCommerce.
Global block styles: change the button once and it changes across the whole site
What you notice most when working with clients is the expanded global design system. These are the pieces that matter:
- Global block styles: you define how a button, a heading or a box looks and it applies everywhere, without going page by page.
- Advanced copy and paste of styles: you carry the look of one block over to another without redoing every setting.
- Unlimited color schemes and a global icon library, so the palette and icons do not depend on the memory of whoever edits.
- Role manager: you decide who can touch the content, so the design does not break from one stray click.
- Custom CSS per block and a CSS customizer, for details the regular options cannot reach.
The free version already includes a global design system, but with only two color schemes and no global block styles.
Stackable Premium with custom fields and conditional display
If every page on your site comes from its own content type (properties, courses, products), dynamic content saves you from repeating blocks by hand. Premium displays data from the post, built-in custom fields, and fields from ACF, Meta Box or JetEngine, and it also works inside WordPress's native query loop.
Conditional display lets you show or hide a block based on user status, role, date or post data, with one or several conditions at once. It is useful for time-limited notices or content that changes depending on who visits.
Patterns, templates and entrance effects so you do not start from scratch
Premium's design library reaches 375 patterns and 40 full-page templates, compared with 107 patterns and 15 templates in the free version. They inherit the styles of your block theme, so there is no need to redo them to make them fit.
It also adds motion effects (entrance and exit), transform options, layered shape dividers and more than 50 organic shapes for images. The posts block gains custom post types, post offset, a load more button and pagination.
Common questions before moving to Premium
Does it work with any theme and plugin?
The blocks adapt to the theme you use and can be combined with other block libraries. If a conflict with a plugin appears, it is best to check it on a test copy before publishing.
Can I use it on client sites?
Yes, it can be used on sites you build for clients.
Does it integrate with WooCommerce?
Yes, it is one of Premium's integrations, along with Font Awesome Pro, ACF, Meta Box and JetEngine. WPML, Weglot and Toolset already work in the free version.
Is the free version enough for me?
For a simple site, probably yes. Move to Premium if you need global block styles, dynamic content, conditional display, motion effects or the role manager.
