About Stationero – WooCommerce Stationery WordPress theme
Selling stationery means selling a lot of cheap things
And that is the whole problem of the business. A two-euro pen does not pay for its postage, nor its packaging, nor the minute somebody spends picking it off the shelf. An online stationery shop does not live on selling products: it lives on every order carrying twelve of them.
Stationero is a WordPress theme with WooCommerce for stationers, office supply shops and craft retailers, and its value lies in what it does to help people move fast through a huge catalogue.
What it brings
- Seven homepages for the sector, with one-click demo import.
- Five shop layouts: sidebar on either side, list view, by category and full width at four columns.
- Four product page layouts, with gallery, sticky detail and horizontal or vertical thumbnails.
- Category filtering and countdown timers for promotions.
- Horizontal and vertical menus, the latter useful when there are many categories.
- Elementor for layout, and optimised for the block editor too.
What has to be built on top for the business to work
The minimum order value. It is the most profitable decision in a cheap-product shop, and it comes with no theme. It gets configured with a plugin and prevents the orders that cost money to fulfil.
Bundles and packs. Selling the box of twenty instead of the single unit raises the basket with no sales effort. It is built with WooCommerce grouped products and has to be thought through while building the catalogue.
Selling to business. If you are going to supply offices and schools, you need things no theme provides: quantity pricing, ordering with a purchase order reference, payment on account and quick ordering by product code. That is a different project from the consumer stationery shop, and worth deciding from the start whether you are doing both.
