ToolboxAI is a plugin that starts with a ready-made tools database (more than 7,000 in the initial database, imported from the system's own dashboard) and adds listing, search, filters, user accounts and payments. But an AI catalog ages quickly: tools shut down, change names or become paid. Whoever gets the most out of this will be the one who reviews and cleans up listings, not the one who just imports.

If you want a niche directory
The advanced listing, search and filter system helps visitors reach what they are looking for quickly, whether it is a very specific category or a huge catalog. The report tool also lets you flag listings by custom criteria, which is useful for keeping the database clean.
If you are an agency or build for clients
It includes a user dashboard, login and registration pages with the client's own branding, Contact Form 7 support (communication between administrators and users) and step-by-step documentation. It is listed as compatible with Elementor and WooCommerce.
If you are targeting several countries
It is compatible with WPML, so you can translate the directory and serve each audience in its own language. You handle the translations yourself with WPML.
If you live off advertising and affiliates

Paid users and paid listings do not work without the pricing addon, which is a separate component. Identity verification of users (KYC) is also another addon. Check that you have them before planning subscription revenue.
The theme and demo data in the live preview are not the plugin itself either: do not assume your site will look identical to the demo. And it is not optimized for Gutenberg.
Questions that usually come up before deciding
Do I have to create the listings one by one? No, the tools database is imported from the system dashboard. After that you will need to review and maintain it.
Does it take payments on its own or do I need another plugin? Payments are handled with WooCommerce, which is the basis for selling the plans.
Does it work for a multilingual site? Yes, it is compatible with WPML.
Can I verify users' identity? A separate KYC addon exists for that; it is not a feature of the basic plugin.
