One WhatsApp number for twenty enquiries at once
The WhatsApp button on a website works too well. It starts as a convenience and ends as a bottleneck: every enquiry lands on the same phone, and the person holding it cannot handle twenty conversations without some going unanswered.
This plugin spreads those enquiries across several agents, each with their own number, and decides whose turn each visitor is.
How it distributes
- Rotation across unlimited agents, each with their name, number and photo.
- A percentage per agent, so whoever has more availability receives more enquiries rather than everyone getting the same.
- A schedule per agent, so outside their shift they simply do not appear.
- Flexible placement: floating button, shortcode wherever you want, and on WooCommerce shop and product pages too.
What can be measured
It records views and clicks per agent, keeps the detail and sends a daily report by email at the time you choose. It also connects to the Facebook pixel, in case the button click is part of what you measure in your campaigns.
Three things to decide first
The schedule is not optional. Distributing solves distribution, not capacity. If the button shows at eleven at night, somebody will write at eleven at night, and a message unanswered until the next day leaves a worse impression than never offering the channel. Configure the shifts from day one.
Which numbers you use. WhatsApp's terms distinguish personal from commercial use, and using personal lines for customer service at volume is the standard way to end up with a blocked number. For steady support, the business app or the official programming interface route is what applies.
What your privacy policy says. When the visitor taps, the conversation moves to Meta's platform and is stored there. That has to be covered in your policy, and it must be clear at what point the customer leaves your site.
