About Ultimate WP GDPR Compliance Toolkit

A cookie notice isn't enough: the hard part is what happens next

Adding a cookie banner seems like the urgent task, until a visitor writes asking to see their data or to have it deleted, and you find you have no process to handle it. Ultimate WP GDPR Compliance Toolkit brings the pieces of that process into the WordPress dashboard: consent, user requests, export and deletion.

From the first visitor to a deletion request: the journey with Ultimate WP GDPR Compliance Toolkit

Step 1: find out which cookies your site uses

Before asking for consent you need to know what you are storing. The plugin includes a one-click cookie detector that lists the cookies your site uses. It is the starting point so you don't declare things blindly.

Step 2: block until there is permission

A cookie consent box blocks cookies until the visitor accepts. With the Service Manager you can block third-party cookies, and there is integration with Google Analytics so that measurement respects that decision. Here it's worth testing on your own site that each specific service is really blocked before acceptance.

Step 3: consent in forms and policies

You can add consent checkboxes to your site's forms and redirect to your Terms and Privacy Policy pages until the user accepts them. You write the legal texts yourself: the plugin provides the mechanism, not the legal content.

Step 4: handle someone asking for their data

There is a form for users to view their stored personal data and another to request its deletion (right to be forgotten). Requests arrive in a list you can review from the admin area, with customizable email notifications.

Step 5: export, pseudonymise and notify

You can export a user's data to JSON or text files, with the option to send it by email. It also lets you pseudonymise stored data and send global email notifications in the event of a data breach. These notices do not replace your internal procedure or your obligation to report to the authorities.

CCPA: help with the requirements, but it doesn't review your case

For California, the plugin covers elements such as the cookie banner, age verification, the Do Not Sell My Information document, the account form and a CCPA disclaimer. The differences from GDPR are small but real, and consulting a professional or lawyer is recommended. No plugin guarantees compliance on its own: it depends on how you configure it and how you handle data outside WordPress.

Available languages

The texts come translated into German, French, Spanish, Norwegian, Russian, Polish, Italian, Dutch, Croatian, Romanian, Hungarian, Slovak, Czech, Danish and Swedish. Useful if your site serves visitors from several European countries.

Does it block cookies from other services?

Yes, through the Service Manager, which supports third-party cookies. Check in the demo that your specific services are covered.
