About Vework – Virtual Assistant WordPress Theme

A virtual assistant lives on the fact that a stranger, after a couple of visits, decides to hand over their inbox, calendar or invoicing. If the website looks like a generic consulting template, the client hesitates before writing. Vework is a theme designed for that kind of remote service, and this is what it does at each step of building your site.

First step with Vework: import a demo and keep only what you use

You normally don't start from scratch. The theme includes demo content with a one-click importer, and it also lets you import individual pre-built layouts, without loading the whole package. Delete what doesn't fit your services and keep the structure. If you change your mind, the theme can be installed and uninstalled with one click.

Watch out for the images: the demo ones are for display only and don't come with the theme files. You will have to add your own photos, and for a personal service it's better to show your face and your way of working, not generic stock photos.

Second step: build your services and prices with the Elementor modules

Vework is built with Elementor and ships its own modules that fit what a virtual assistant needs to explain:

  • Service and Feature Box: to describe which tasks you take on.
  • Pricing Table: for hourly or monthly packages.
  • Time Line: to explain how a collaboration starts, from the first call to the weekly routine.
  • Testimonial, Faq and Counter: to answer doubts and show results.
  • Contact Form, Google Map and Mailchimp: to receive enquiries and capture contacts.

Every potential client asks the same thing: what do you take off my plate and how much does it cost. If the price table and the task list are one scroll away, half of the sales work is done.

Third step: different headers and footers depending on the page

You can choose a different header and footer design on each page, with a megamenu or side menu, and add your own colors and typefaces. This is useful if you have one home page for end clients and a more sober one for agencies that subcontract you. There is also a one-page or multi-page layout, wide or boxed format, and coming soon and under construction pages so you can publish before everything is ready.

Frequently asked questions about Vework

Do I need paid Elementor?

Check in the demo which elements work with the version of Elementor you have installed.

Can I use it for a multilingual website?

It is compatible with WPML and with right-to-left languages. WPML is a separate plugin that you will need to have yourself.

Does it include forms?

There is a contact form module and compatibility with Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms, but those two plugins are not included.

Does it include a child theme?

Yes, so you can edit the code without losing changes to the main theme.

What Vework doesn't solve for you

It has no booking system or online calendar for clients to pick a time, no client area and no invoicing. If you need that, you will have to add it with other plugins. Nor is it a theme for a shop: it is aimed at presenting a service and generating enquiries. Yoast SEO is recommended for search ranking, but you write the copy and choose the keywords.
