About Visibility Logic PRO for Elementor
One page for visitors who have nothing in common
A sale banner that is still there after the promo ended, a 'buy' button shown to someone who already bought, a members-only notice that everybody sees. When an Elementor page has to serve different audiences, the usual fix is to duplicate it or hope someone remembers to remove things by hand.
What almost nobody counts is the cost of maintaining two versions of the same thing: every change is made twice and one of them ends up outdated. Visibility Logic PRO for Elementor takes the opposite approach: a single page, where each widget, section or container decides on its own whether to show, depending on who is visiting and when.
Visibility Logic PRO for Elementor: rules inside the controls you already use
Rules are added from the editor, with no code, on widgets, sections and flexbox containers. You can stack several conditions on one element and combine them with AND/OR logic. If the visitor doesn't match, the element simply isn't shown.
Basic conditions
- User role: logged in, logged out or specific WordPress roles.
- User meta: based on the values in their profile.
- Date and time: from/to, designed for launches and time-limited offers.
- Device type: desktop, tablet or mobile, detected on the server.
- Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera, iPhone and Android.
- ACF fields, with 7 operators.
- Hide when empty: a parent section disappears on its own when all its children are hidden, so you don't end up with gaps.
Advanced conditions
Country by geolocation (MaxMind-based), language with WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress, URL parameters with 9 operators, advanced ACF (repeaters, options pages, term and user meta, 17 operators), WooCommerce orders and subscriptions, Easy Digital Downloads purchases, specific pages, post types and terms, archives, IP and referring site, WordPress conditional tags and fallback content.
Mind the dependencies: the WooCommerce and EDD conditions only make sense if you sell with them, the language ones require one of those three translation plugins, and the dynamic ones use Elementor Pro Dynamic Tags. It is also a visibility layer: it decides what is shown, and registration, access levels or payments must be handled by your membership system.
Common questions before setting up the rules
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Conditions are chosen in Elementor's visual editor.
Can I combine several conditions on one element?
Yes. You can add role, device, dates, custom fields and more, and mix them with AND/OR logic to reach the exact audience.
Can I show something different instead of just hiding?
Yes, with fallback content: visitors who don't meet the condition see a text or an Elementor template in place of the original element.
Does it work with flexbox containers?
Yes, it works on both classic sections and containers.
Four setups where one rule saves a whole page
- Members-only content: the block is shown to logged-in users, and everyone else sees a sign-up message as fallback content.
- Dated promotions: a banner or pricing table that appears on launch day and disappears when the offer ends.
- Campaign landing pages: headlines and offers that change depending on the URL parameter from the ad or email.
- Stores and multilingual sites: offering an upsell to customers, hiding the buy button from people who already own the product, or serving a different message by country or language.
Set up one rule and duplicate it with a right click
Once a visibility rule is built, you can copy and paste its settings with a right click onto other elements, handy when you repeat the same condition across several blocks of a landing page.
Before publishing, view the page as each audience would: logged out, with a different role and from a phone. If you use country or language, check in the demo how those conditions behave. And make sure the layout still makes sense when an element is hidden.
