About VisualModo – Music WordPress Theme
For the band or DJ who already streams on Spotify but has no home of their own online
Your music probably lives on platforms that aren't yours: people listen there, but you don't get anyone's email, you don't control your image and they don't bring you bookings. An artist's website serves what those platforms don't give you: a promoter can find you, a fan can buy something and your story is told your way. Music, by VisualModo, is a theme designed for musicians, bands, DJs and entertainment businesses, and it fits if that's what you need.
- It suits you if you want to build the site yourself by dragging blocks, without touching code.
- It suits you if besides presenting yourself you want to sell merchandise or tickets with a shop.
- It doesn't suit you if you expect the theme to work as a streaming platform or give you your own player out of the box: don't take that for granted, so check in the demo how audio is integrated.
- It doesn't suit you if you want a minimalist one-page site with no page builder: here everything revolves around one.
Countdown, map and team: pieces to announce a release or a gig
More than 150 elements come included, and several fit an artist's routine. The countdown timer works for an upcoming single or concert. Google Maps helps show the venue. The team element introduces the band members, and the timeline tells your career story. There are also video, tabs, info boxes, counters, interactive banners and price boxes.
With Slider Revolution you can build a homepage with customizable transitions and animations. It's useful for a header with your album cover, though don't overdo it: on mobile, where a good part of your audience arrives, a heavy header takes longer to load.
Music works with Elementor, WPBakery or the block editor: pick one before you start
The theme integrates with Elementor, WPBakery and the WordPress block editor. That's an advantage, but also a decision: mixing two builders on the same site complicates maintenance and multiplies what you have to learn. Choose the one you already know and build everything with it.
The design is responsive and the Customizer lets you adjust the look of the site from a panel with a few clicks. For typography there is Google Fonts integration, useful if your visual identity depends on a specific typeface on posters and covers.
Merchandise with WooCommerce and a website that can also be read in another language
Music is ready for WooCommerce, so t-shirts, vinyl records or tickets can be sold from your own site. The theme doesn't replace what selling requires: you'll have to set up payments, shipping and taxes, and that part is yours.
For tours abroad, the theme supports WPML for a multilingual site. Check whether you need that extension separately before planning the translation.
Contact Form 7 lets you create several forms, for example one for bookings and another for press, and customize the email content. It's a contact form: for a subscriber list with regular mailings you'll need a separate newsletter service.
Questions to ask before choosing Music
Is it only for musicians?
It's aimed at music and entertainment, but its generic elements let you build other kinds of sites.
Can I build it without knowing how to code?
Yes, the approach is to drag and drop blocks, upload content and publish.
Does it come with a ready-made gig schedule or discography?
Don't take it for granted. Check in the demo whether there is a template for dates or records; if not, you'll have to build them with the available elements.
Does it look good on mobile?
Yes, the design adapts to any screen without hiding elements.
