About WellExpo Core
WellExpo Core is the plugin that comes with Select Themes' WellExpo theme.
A plugin that makes no sense without its theme
WellExpo Core is not a standalone product. It is a plugin of the WellExpo theme (events and conferences).
An event is a business with an expiry date. The website must be ready, with confirmed speakers and a visible programme, weeks before the last ticket sells. That is why it pays to have your content well organised from day one rather than laid out by hand on loose pages.
What it does for your conference website
- Theme shortcodes: the theme includes shortcodes such as team list, team slider, countdown, pricing table, counter, Google Map, galleries, video button or blog lists, among others. They are part of the WellExpo package and are built with the page builder the theme includes.
- Individual pages: the theme includes speaker layouts (light and dark versions) and an event layout, so each person gets their own page.
The programme and the schedule come from another plugin
WellExpo Core does not build the conference agenda on its own. That part is covered by Timetable Responsive Schedule, which the theme brings as a separate plugin. Nor is it a complete ticket-selling system.
- What the theme package solves: design shortcodes, speaker and event layouts.
- What you cover with another plugin: the schedule (Timetable), sliders (Slider Revolution), visual layout (WPBakery) and the shop (WooCommerce, if you sell anything).
- What you or a professional do: copy, photos you have the rights to (the demo images cannot be reused), translations and the real registration logic.
WellExpo Core, inside the WellExpo package
To get the most out of it you need the WellExpo theme active, not just this plugin. The package brings three header types (standard, vertical and minimal), a large mega menu, a side menu, anchors to jump to sections, several blog layouts and compatibility with WooCommerce, Contact Form 7 and WPML.
If you want an events plugin that works with any theme, this is not it: it is designed to work with WellExpo.

Can I use WellExpo Core with another theme?
That is not its intended use. It is the plugin of the WellExpo theme and is designed to work with it.
Does it create the conference programme for me?
Not on its own. The schedule is handled by Timetable Responsive Schedule, which is part of the theme package.
Is it suitable for selling tickets?
That is not its purpose. The theme is compatible with WooCommerce, but you set up selling and attendee tracking with that plugin or another one.
