About WooCommerce Export Add-On Pro
Your catalog lives in WooCommerce, but nobody else wants it that way
Getting products out of the store usually ends in copy and paste, columns that don't match what the supplier asks for, or variations lost along the way. And the problem runs deeper: an online store's catalog doesn't stay in the store. Google Merchant Center, the distributor, the price comparison site or whoever does the bookkeeping all want it, and each one wants its own format. WooCommerce Export Add-On Pro is built for that translation work: you set up once the structure each destination asks for and repeat it whenever needed.
You do it on a drag and drop screen: reorder columns, change labels, combine several fields into one and choose the output format, whether CSV with the delimiter you need, Excel or XML.
Four situations where WooCommerce Export Add-On Pro fits
If you run your catalog from a spreadsheet
You export, edit prices or stock in Excel and upload the changes again. Variations, custom attributes, image galleries (with alt text and caption), categories and tags can all be included as columns.
If you advertise on Google Shopping
You switch the export type to a Google Merchant Center feed and the file comes out prepared for that destination. With filtering rules you decide which products go in and which stay out.
If you build stores for clients or are asked for an unusual XML
For simple feeds, drag and drop is enough. If the schema is odd, you write the XML by hand in the advanced builder, and you can test PHP code inside the plugin itself while setting up the export. It also works for moving products to another WordPress site.
If you sell in several languages
With WPML, a built-in language switcher lets you export translated product data without duplicating the work.
Data from other plugins, filters and exports that run on their own
The plugin detects custom fields, categories and tags created by any theme, plugin or WooCommerce extension, so they are exported just like the core data. That matters if your store keeps brands, spec sheets or special prices in third-party fields.
- Filters: rules so that only the products meeting your conditions come out.
- Large catalogs: designed to export a large number of products.
- Scheduling: automatic exports through cron jobs on your server or with the scheduling service the developer offers from the interface.
- Zapier: to send the data to apps such as Google Sheets, Dropbox or Google Drive.
Questions from first-time exporters
How do I export to Excel? In All Export › New Export you choose WooCommerce Products, select the columns, change the export type to Excel file, run it and download.
How do I include categories or attributes? You drag the Product categories field from Available Data › Taxonomies, or the attributes from Product Data › Attributes.
Do images come out? Yes, from the Media › Images section, with fields such as caption and alt text.
Can I export data added by another plugin? Yes, it is detected automatically and treated like any other field.
It is an add-on: it exports, it doesn't handle the rest
It is used from the All Export system, not as a standalone tool. It solves the data output: to re-import the changes you make in Excel you also need the import tool. And the one-click scheduling service is separate; without it, the alternative is your server's cron jobs, which require some technical knowledge.
