About WooCommerce My Account Page Pro
The My Account menu grows by itself, and nobody decides its order
You install a wallet, then subscriptions, then a wishlist. Each plugin with its own area adds its entry to the My Account menu, with its own name and in its own place. Over time, the customer who comes back to check an order or download a file finds a column of options nobody chose, and some do not even apply to them.
That page is the shop of the people who already bought from you, and it needs someone to decide what goes in it. Customize My Account for WooCommerce Pro, by SysBasics, is that tool: with it you add, edit and remove endpoints, which are the account tabs, and group or reorder what already exists. What appears inside each tab still comes from your pages, your templates or other plugins.
What fits in the menu and who sees it
- Your own endpoints: new tabs with HTML or shortcode content.
- Links: menu entries that lead to another address.
- Groups: several entries gathered under one to shorten the column.
- Elementor templates: for the My Account page and for its endpoints.
- Role-based visibility: each entry shows only to the roles you choose.
- Site menu widget: a settings option places My Account in the navigation, with the text you give it.
A shop selling to wholesalers and to individuals can have a single account page with two different menus, as long as each group has its own WordPress role. Check the result by logging in with a user of each type.
Tab content and orders your way
A custom endpoint shows the content you write or a shortcode, and it can also come from an Elementor template. That way, a help tab is written once for every customer who sees it.
The plugin also manages the columns and actions of the orders list, which have their own section.
Where you need another plugin
- An endpoint does not create features. It shows what you put in it: if you want an affiliate panel there, the panel has to come from its own plugin.
- Third-party endpoints have nuances. The plugin recognizes endpoints from other plugins, but check on a copy of the shop how the ones you use behave.
- Moving the setup to another site calls for WP Options Importer. With that free plugin you export and import endpoints, columns, actions and settings, separately if you like.
WooCommerce, your list of entries and the first endpoint
It needs WooCommerce, and Elementor templates need Elementor. A tidy way to start:
- Install the plugin on a copy of the shop.
- Log in as a customer and note which entries the menu has today and which nobody uses.
- In the SysBasics menu in WordPress, remove the extra ones and group the similar ones.
- Create a test endpoint with some text or a shortcode.
- Assign the roles and log in with a user of each type to see their menu.
YITH or another account editor
YITH WooCommerce Customize My Account Page works on the same ground, with unlimited endpoints, groups and role-based visibility. It also places the menu vertically or horizontally, adds banners with counters and, at registration, offers email verification and domain blocking. It is worth a look if you also want to handle registration and login from the same plugin.
The menu and tabs, made clear
Can I hide a tab from certain customers?
Yes, if those customers have their own role. Visibility is assigned by role.
Can it put another plugin's content in a tab?
If that plugin offers a shortcode, you can place it in your own endpoint and check how it looks.
Can I copy the setup to another shop?
Yes, with the free WP Options Importer plugin, which lets you choose which data groups are imported.
