About WP ERP Inventory
When the warehouse says one thing and the accounting says another
Keeping stock in a spreadsheet and invoices somewhere else always ends the same way: someone sells something that is no longer there, or the stock value does not match what the books say. WP ERP Inventory is a WP ERP extension that puts stock control inside the Accounting module.
If your business buys goods and resells them, the problem is rarely miscounting: it is that each movement is recorded in a different place and nobody reconciles them.
What you see for each product in WP ERP Inventory
The main screen gives you a list of everything you hold in stock. Each line shows, among other data:
- The item code.
- The buying and selling price.
- The units left.
Each product can be configured to your liking, so the record covers what your business needs to control. When the catalog grows, the search with filters saves you from paging through everything to find a specific item.
Reports and taxes without leaving the accounting
With one click you can generate detailed reports: you can ask for one on purchases or on a specific product, or the complete inventory report. It helps you review what you bought, what is left and what moved without building tables by hand.
It also includes automatic tax calculation on sales and purchases: you pick the tax rate you have already configured and it is applied. It does not replace your tax advisor's review: the rates and their correct application remain your responsibility.
Do you need WP ERP Inventory or an online store tool?
This extension is an add-on for WP ERP and does not work on its own: it needs WP ERP with its Accounting module. It is designed to manage stock inside an accounting program, not to build a public catalog with a shopping cart. If you want to sell online, check in the demo how it relates to your store before deciding.
Does it work without WP ERP?
No. It is an extension and depends on WP ERP and its Accounting module.
What data do I see for each product?
Item code, buying and selling price, and units left, plus other data in the list.
Can I get an inventory report?
Yes, either one on purchases or on a product, or the complete inventory report.
Does it calculate taxes?
It applies the tax rate you have configured, on both sales and purchases.
Does it sync stock with my online store?
That is not a function advertised for this extension. If you need it, test it in the demo with your own workflow first.
