About WPForms Surveys and Polls Addon
For people who want the answers in their own WordPress, not in someone else's dashboard
Asking customers, students or your team usually ends up in an external tool: the answers live in someone else's account, you have to build the charts by hand after exporting a CSV, and if you switch tools you start from scratch. WPForms Surveys and Polls Addon adds survey fields and polls to WPForms forms so everything stays next to your other entries.
It suits you if:
- You already use WPForms or plan to, because it is an addon and does not work on its own.
- You run satisfaction surveys, NPS, employee feedback or quick polls on your own website.
- You would rather see the results in the WordPress dashboard without going through spreadsheets.
It does not suit you if you want a research platform that puts respondents in front of you: getting visits is still up to you. It is also not a standalone tool: it needs WPForms Pro.
Likert, stars and NPS: questions designed to be answered with a thumb
A survey rarely fails for lack of good questions, but because it tires the person answering. A good share of people reply from their phone, and an awkward matrix or a tiny scale makes them quit by the third question.
The addon includes Likert scales, star ratings, NPS, multiple choice and matrix questions. To shorten the path, combine it with WPForms conditional logic: show or skip questions based on previous answers, and split long research surveys into multi-page forms.

Charts, word clouds and NPS calculated inside your dashboard
Reports generate themselves: bar and pie charts, a word cloud for open answers and a real-time NPS calculation. It lets you bring results to a meeting without preparing anything separately.
For polls, you can place a quick poll on a page, a post or a sidebar: the visitor votes and sees the updated results. Each response is also saved as one more WPForms entry, searchable and exportable, so the data remains yours even if you change plugins someday.
Anonymous surveys and answers that travel to your tools
If you ask your team about workplace climate, wellbeing or the reasons someone left, seeing a name next to an answer skews the result. With anonymous mode no IP, name or email is recorded, so people are more likely to tell you what they really think.
Responses can be sent to tools such as Google Sheets, HubSpot or Mailchimp, or trigger automations with Zapier, depending on the integration you set up in WPForms. For example, you can alert support when someone gives a very low score.
Questions to settle before building your first survey
Is there a limit on responses or surveys?
The addon sets no cap: you can collect every response that comes in across all the surveys you create, and they are stored in your own WordPress.
Can I use it without WPForms?
No. It is a WPForms addon and needs WPForms Pro installed.
Does it work for anonymous surveys?
Yes, you can turn on anonymous mode so IP, name and email are not stored.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Surveys are built with the drag and drop builder and you can start from a template.
