About YITH Woocommerce Barcodes and QR Codes Premium
Codes that connect the stockroom to the shop
A store that also sells over a counter always has the same mismatch: the website's inventory and what is on the shelf do not agree, because nobody manually deducts what sells in person or adds what arrives from the supplier.
This plugin closes that gap the most practical way: it puts a code on every product and every order, and lets you scan it to move stock and change statuses without going into the dashboard.
Which codes it generates
Barcodes in EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, STD 25, INT 25, CODE 39, CODE 93, CODE 128 and Codabar, plus QR codes.
They can be generated from the product ID, the SKU, a custom field, or the product page URL in the case of QR codes. For orders, from the order ID or order number. It works with variations of a variable product too.
What scanning does
- Moving stock: there is a page placed with a shortcode where you scan a product and its quantity goes up or down. That is what lets you deduct a counter sale or book in a delivery without touching the dashboard.
- Changing an order's status by scanning its code, useful when preparing shipments: you scan the label and the order moves to completed.
- Finding a product from the website by scanning the physical item's barcode.
Where the codes appear
On the product page, in order emails to the customer, on the product and order edit screens, and in printed PDF documents.
For printing
Bulk generation for the whole catalogue in one click, and PDF export with whichever details you choose: name, image, price, SKU and description. It supports multiple copies of the same code per product, which is what you need when labelling a batch.
What it combines with
It integrates with YITH Point of Sale and YITH Event Tickets. Pairing it with the point of sale is what closes the loop between the physical shop and the website.
