Selling tickets without an outside platform taking a cut
Anyone organizing an event tends to stumble at the sales stage: commissions that eat into the margin, buyers who pay but don't appear on the list, lost tickets and attendees without a seat. With two or three events at once, manual control falls apart. YITH Woocommerce Event Tickets Premium turns your WooCommerce store into the point of sale and control for your tickets.
Prices that rise on their own based on seats and date
Each ticket is a product with its own price. On top of that base you can configure:
- Availability thresholds: when few tickets are left, the price rises to the level you define for each tier.
- Increases based on the days left until the event starts.
- Reduced-price tickets, with the option to explain the requirements to qualify.
- Stock management: the quantity drops automatically with each sale.
You can also sell optional services (each with its own price and limited quantity) and ask buyers for details using text, textarea, number, email, date or yes/no fields, combined however you like for each event.
From payment to the door: PDF ticket, attendee list and check-in
When the order is completed, the buyer receives an email with the PDF ticket attached, and can view, download or print it from My Account. Both physical tickets (with shipping costs like any product) and virtual tickets are supported.
For you, a Tickets section in the admin gathers everything sold. You can search by ticket number, export to CSV and run the check-in to tell used tickets from unused ones. On the event page you can show an attendees tab with organizers and participants, the location with Google Maps, a monthly calendar widget for the sidebar and a button to save the event to Google Calendar. You can also attach downloadable files to the event after purchase and customize the ticket template with images and text.
Barcodes, seating and other limits to weigh before deciding
Barcodes and QR codes are not included: they require the YITH WooCommerce Barcodes and QR Codes plugin, bought separately. With it you can search and validate by scanning the ticket or the order. Without it, search is by ticket number.
The features described cover seat type and number, but not a visual map for choosing a seat. If your event needs each person to pick a seat on a floor plan, check in the demo whether it covers that case.
Does it work with Elementor and Gutenberg?
Yes, it supports both page builders. It is also compatible with WPML and is translation ready.
Can I sell physical tickets?
Yes. In that case shipping costs apply just as for any other product.
Do I need WooCommerce?
Yes, it is a WooCommerce plugin and tickets are products in your store.
Can I hide events that have already passed?
Yes, an expired event can be removed or hidden automatically.
