A refused shipment leaves an order open
You hand the parcel to ACS Courier, the customer gets a tracking number and the order sits in its shipped status. Days go by and nobody checks the tracking, because nothing says it needs checking. The parcel arrived, or the recipient refused it, and your store keeps saying the same thing.
An order status is a copy of the parcel status, and every refusal nobody records leaves an order that looks finished and is not.
ACS Courier Voucher for WooCommerce, by WPSlash, connects your store with ACS Courier in Greece. It creates, prints, cancels and tracks vouchers, which are the shipping tickets, and watches orders to change their status according to what happens with the shipment, whether delivered or refused.
What the add-on automates
- Vouchers: created, printed, canceled and tracked from the store.
- Printing: printed one at a time or in bulk.
- Tracking email: when a shipment goes out, an automatic email is sent with the tracking numbers.
- Automatic statuses: the order moves to Delivery Completed or to Delivery Denied according to the shipment status.
- Several credentials: it supports multiple instances, to use more than one set of ACS credentials.
A refused parcel and what you see in your list
Imagine an order reaches Athens and the recipient refuses the parcel. If the shipment shows as refused, the order moves to Delivery Denied without anyone having looked. When you open your orders list, those orders stand apart from the delivered ones and you can decide what to do with each. This is one idea of use; adjust it to your store.
ACS in Greece only
The add-on works only with ACS Courier in Greece. Among its functions there are no other carriers. You need the ACS credentials, which are requested at your local ACS branch, and each additional account you want to use needs its own.
Among its functions there are no settings for weight, cash on delivery or pickup lists. If your operation requires them, confirm with the vendor first.
Getting the add-on running with your ACS credentials
- Request the credentials from your local ACS Courier branch.
- Install and activate the add-on on a store with WooCommerce.
- Enter the credentials and, if you use more than one account, add each instance.
- Create a voucher from an order and print it.
The add-on is compatible with WooCommerce high-performance order storage.
Shipment tracking with other carriers
