About BEAR WooCommerce Bulk Editor
When changing one price means opening a hundred product pages
Fixing prices, stock or categories in a WooCommerce catalog by opening one product at a time is slow and error-prone, and in growing stores it comes back every season. BEAR WooCommerce Bulk Editor (formerly called WOOBE) turns it into a table where you see the products and edit them together.
Picture a seasonal sale on an entire category. The first step is filtering. You can filter by any product field (title, content, SKU, price, categories, attributes, meta fields and custom taxonomies), so the selection comes from criteria and not from ticking boxes by eye. If you repeat the same filter often, save it as a profile; the same goes for the set of columns you want in view.
One limit from the start: the plugin works only with WooCommerce products. It is not an editor for posts, pages or other content types.
Edit, review and undo if the percentage was wrong
With the products filtered, editing comes next. Prices can be changed relatively, that is, raised or lowered from the current value instead of typing every new price, and there is a calculator for decimal fields. Besides regular and sale prices, you can change sale dates, stock management and quantity, stock status, backorders, weight and dimensions, shipping class, featured image, gallery, upsells and cross-sells, status, catalog visibility and more. Bulk editing applies a change to several products with two clicks, and data is saved instantly with AJAX.
The third step is the safety net: the history of operations, both bulk and individual, lets you roll them back. If the discount turns out wrong, you don't have to rebuild the prices by hand.
If you need to take the data out, the export uses the native WooCommerce format, so it can later be re-imported with the WooCommerce importer.
Bulk deletion also exists and supports prior filtering by the same fields. It is the function that calls for the most care: filter first and review the list before deleting.
Questions before installing BEAR WooCommerce Bulk Editor
Does it work with variable products?
Yes. It lets you create variations, set the default combination, order them, change attribute visibility, swap variations and delete them with the selected combination.
Does it also edit posts and pages?
No, it is designed only for WooCommerce products.
Can several managers work at the same time?
Yes: products can be edited jointly without one person interfering with another, and shop managers can be restricted by their role.
Does it work with my multivendor or language plugin?
It uses only the native WooCommerce API and has been tested with WPML, WooCommerce Currency Switcher (fixed prices), YITH WooCommerce Multi Vendor, Dokan, WC Vendors, WC Marketplace, WOOT and Custom Product Tabs. With any other plugin, check in the demo that the fields you need appear and are saved.
Meta fields and serialized JSON: what a basic editor won't touch
If your store keeps its own data in meta fields, you can add them to the system and manage them from the same table. For metadata serialized as JSON there is a popup window with a data builder, which saves you from editing strings by hand. Taxonomies related to products are attached automatically so you can edit them.
The plugin has an extension architecture with an internal API, designed for PHP developers who want to add their own functions. If you only need to change prices from time to time, much of this will be more than you need.
