About Digitek – Elementor Electronics WooCommerce Theme
Electronics gets bought with five tabs open
It is what distinguishes this sector from any other retail, and what should decide how you build the product page.
Somebody buying a shirt looks at a photograph and decides. Somebody buying a laptop, headphones or a television has your site open alongside four others, and is jumping between them comparing the same model. They know the part number, they searched for it exactly, and what they want is to confirm two or three details and see who is cheapest or fastest.
That means your product page is not competing to be liked: it is competing to be easy to compare. And the one hiding its specifications behind a tab that has to be opened loses to the one showing them in a table.
Digitek is a WooCommerce theme on Elementor with prebuilt homepages for phone shops, electronics stores and online retail generally.
What it contributes
- Prebuilt homepages ready for electronics and phone shops.
- A WooCommerce base with commerce features.
- Built on Elementor, so you change the pages yourself.
- Works for other retail: furniture, beauty, jewellery.
The specification table is the product page
Four concrete things, and all of them are content rather than design.
Specifications visible, not in a tab. The buyer is comparing, and every extra click is a chance they stay in the other tab.
The same field order across every product. If memory is third on one laptop and seventh on another, the visitor cannot compare at a glance, and comparing is exactly what they came to do.
The comparison tool. Being able to tick three models and see them in columns is the highest-converting feature in this category, because it does on your site what the visitor was doing with five tabs.
What is in the box. Charger included or not, cable, regional version, plug adapter. It is the number one cause of returns in electronics and it gets avoided with two lines.
The legal warranty is a selling point and hardly anybody uses it
In the European Union, every product sold to a consumer carries a minimum two year legal guarantee against the seller, which is you, and it is independent of the manufacturer's commercial warranty. It is neither optional nor reducible.
Most electronics shops treat it as an awkward obligation buried in the terms. And it is the other way round: somebody buying an expensive device is afraid it will break and that nobody will answer. Explaining clearly that you answer, for two years, and how the process works, is among the best arguments you can put on a product page.
And here is the warning in the other direction: presenting the legal guarantee as though it were an extra you offer, or selling an extension that in fact overlaps what is already compulsory, can be treated as an unfair practice.
Requirements
It needs WordPress, WooCommerce and Elementor. The comparison tool and specification search get added separately.
Alternatives in the catalogue
On the same ground, Ecomall is the most established option, Machic covers the same case, and Eleeg and Electro are alternatives. If you prefer Elementor templates over your current theme, ElectroDeals and GadgetTech.
If as well as selling you repair, that is a different business with a different site: Electro Repair is built for the workshop, and RepairPlugin manages appointments by device and fault.
And the two pieces that pay back most on an electronics catalogue, because they attack the comparison problem: BeRocket filters by attributes, which here are the specifications, and FiboSearch finds by model number, which is how this buyer searches.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the specifications go?
Visible on the product page, not hidden in a tab. The buyer is comparing across tabs.
Does it need Elementor?
Yes, the pages get built with the builder.
Does it bring a comparison tool?
Not out of the box. It is the highest-converting feature here and gets added separately.
Why does saying what is in the box matter?
Because it is the number one cause of returns in electronics, and two lines avoid it.
Is it suitable for other shops?
Yes, its homepages allow for furniture, beauty and jewellery as well as electronics.
Should I talk about the warranty?
Yes. The two year legal guarantee is yours as the seller, and explaining it converts better than hiding it.
