About Eduvalt – Online Courses & Education WordPress Theme + RTL
A right-to-left academy gets translated in three layers
You want to open your academy in Arabic, Hebrew or Persian. You switch on right-to-left writing, the home page flips and the job seems done. Then you open a course and may find the LMS plugin texts in another language. The text of an academy lives in three places: the theme, the course plugin and your own lessons, and each one is translated separately.
Eduvalt is an Elementor theme for online courses, universities and training centers, with right-to-left support. It offers several ways to translate the first layer. The other two remain your work, which is why the language is worth planning before you load any courses.
The three layers of text, one by one
- The theme: its texts are translated from the options panel or with PO files, using Loco Translate or a PO editor.
- The course plugin: its texts have their own translation. Review the course page, the lessons and the quizzes in your language.
- Your content: if the academy will be multilingual, Eduvalt is compatible with WPML. If you work in a single language, you write the lessons directly in it.
Test a complete course, from the home page to the last quiz, before producing the rest.
Which course plugin goes underneath Eduvalt
Eduvalt provides the design and the presentation pieces. Courses are managed by an LMS plugin, and the theme is compatible with LearnPress and Tutor LMS. LearnPress installs automatically before the sample data is imported, so it is the direct way to start.
The choice has consequences. With Tutor LMS, certificates call for the Pro version of that plugin. And if your courses are already on LearnDash, test it before deciding, because that compatibility is not confirmed.
Eduvalt blocks and what it leaves to others
- Home pages: four or more, with one-click demo import.
- Elementor: more than 50 custom blocks, including slider, team, testimonials and contact, plus course widgets.
- Base: Bootstrap and responsive design.
- Customizer: logos, also for retina screens, title background, top bar, social links and footer text, with live preview.
- Per page: header style, footer visibility and logo.
- Integrations: WooCommerce, The Events Calendar, Contact Form 7 and Mailchimp forms.
It is not a theme designed for the block editor: it is not optimized for Gutenberg, and its pages are edited with Elementor.
Events run on The Events Calendar and the shop on WooCommerce, so each of those parts brings its own setup and its own texts to translate. One more point for anyone working in Arabic or Hebrew: the theme uses the Lexend Deca and Hind fonts, and it is worth checking that they cover your alphabet.
Installing Eduvalt with the language in mind
A reasonable order to get going:
- Unzip the package and upload only the eduvalt.zip file under Appearance, Themes.
- Accept the plugin installation notice and activate the ones you need.
- Import the demo from Appearance, Import.
- Choose the front page under Settings, Reading.
- Translate a test course through the three layers before loading the rest.
On the server, the recommended values are a memory_limit of 128M, upload_max_filesize of 32M, max_execution_time of 180 and max_input_vars of 3000.
EduBlink, Turitor and the LMS pieces
If you need LearnDash or another LMS, EduBlink is compatible with six platforms, among them LearnDash, LifterLMS and Sensei. Turitor has its own demos for LearnPress, Tutor LMS and LearnDash.
If you stay with Eduvalt, LearnPress and Tutor LMS Pro are the pieces that make the courses work.
Courses, languages and editor in Eduvalt
Does Eduvalt work for an academy in Arabic or Hebrew?
It has right-to-left support. It is worth also reviewing the LMS plugin pages and the fonts.
Does it work without an LMS plugin?

Is it compatible with LearnDash?
That compatibility is not confirmed. The compatible plugins are LearnPress and Tutor LMS, so test LearnDash before deciding.
Can I issue certificates?
With Tutor LMS, that feature requires the Pro version of the plugin.
Can I sell products as well as courses?
Yes, it is compatible with WooCommerce.
Can it be edited with Gutenberg?
It is not optimized for Gutenberg. Its custom blocks are for Elementor.
